The Site Management page provides you with options to customize the look and feel of your checkout area. Once you have logged in, click on the ‘Account’ tab and then click the ‘Site Management’ sub-tab.

Site Management

Demo Setting – Uses radio buttons to decide how your account will handle Demo orders. You must select from the following 3 options inside of your 2Checkout account to control the use of the Demo parameter. Those choices are:

• On: Using this setting all sales will be treated as demo, regardless of any parameter value.
• Off: Using this setting all sales will be treated as live, regardless of any parameter value.
• Parameter: Using this setting a demo parameter sent to the purchase routine will control the demo setting.

Pricing Currency: The currency in which your product prices will be displayed.

Company Information

• Company Name – Your company’s name.
• Soft Descriptor – This will appear on the customer’s card or banking statement to help identify the charges.
• Site Description – A brief description of your business and the products or services that you feature.
• Site Category – Select the category that best relates to your business.

Direct Return – Direct Return is used to determine the method in which the customer and sale parameters are returned to the approved URL.
• Given links back to my website – The customer will be taken to our Order Processed page that features a Click Here to Finalize Your Order button. When clicked, the customer will be directed to the approved URL and the sale parameters will be passed using the POST method.
• Immediately returned to my website – The sale parameters will be passed using the POST method while the approved URL is fetched by our server and displayed to the customer while they remain on the 2Checkout.com domain.
• Header Redirect – The customer will be immediately returned to your approved URL and the sale parameters will be passed using the GET method.

Please Note: If product level approved URLs are used and multiple Plug & Play products are ordered at the same time, the customer will be provided with multiple approved URL links allowing them to access each product in the sale and the sale parameters will be returned using the GET method.

• Secret Word- Your secret word is used in the encryption of a parameter 2CO will send to upon completion of a sale, namely, the MD5 hash.

• Approved URL – Input a URL for your customers to be sent to on a successful purchase. (Credit Card, Debit, PayPal)
• Pending URL – The Pending URL field is no longer used and may be left blank as 2Checkout no longer accepts e-checks as a payment method.
• Affiliate URL – Input the URL provided by your affiliate program. Example:

  https://affiliate.com/sale.cgi?order=$a_order&total=$a_total&product=$a_product&quantity=$a_quantity

Your Logos

The right side of the Site Management page provides you with the options to select logos for both your Order Page and Purchase page. Clicking the ‘+‘ symbol under each option will route you to a page which displays all of your uploaded logos for the category and the option to upload a new logo. Once a logo is uploaded, you can set the logo by clicking on the logo’s image. The Purchase logo will be displayed to your customers during the checkout process. The Order Page logo will only display on your 2Checkout Order Page, which displays a list of all your products.
