Hi connectr - Thanks for your input. We are currently working to expand our PayPal payment method in a few different ways. Adding PayPal to our Single Page purchase is a possibility and has not been ruled out at this point.

marksz,

I will forward your suggestion for consideration. The MasterCard and Visa logos are displayed on the page so that customers will know they are able to make purchases with debit cards branded with those logos, debit or credit.

Hi guys,
I don't mean to flog a dead horse regarding the paypal option, but i've read through the comments and the response from the 2CO team is that adding paypal would make it a 2 page checkout. A simple solution to this would be to make the logos in the payment area clickable, add a paypal logo and if the paypal logo is clicked, the bottom area where the credit card info goes changes to an email address. Once the user puts in their email address, clicks the complete on paypal option and they are redirected to paypal to make the payment.

The key thing to note here is that a lot of people want this feature and no matter how you cut it, your current full checkout process is far from ideal and this new single checkout looks like a huge improvement for vendors like ourselves, who sell large volumes of digital goods every day. Listen to your users, add in paypal and not only will you have lots of happy customers, but also likely a higher conversion rate, which means more commission dollars in your pocket.

Again, i understand you wanting to keep the page simple and efficient (i applaud you for that), but there is absolutely no reason why you can't maintain the current layout and cater for both.

That's great that such Debit card can still be accepted. It would be much better if customer/card holder can be informed that it can be accepted at the One Page Checkout?

How about stating

Credit Card Number:
or Pinless Debit Card:

The PIN-debit payment option is only available in our standard purchase routine. However, as long as the debit card being used can be used as a credit card it should be accepted in our single page checkout as well.

fender123,

Although the Update button isn't listed on the page, the Checkout button does update the total that is billed for the order.

I've advised our developers of this issue and they are working to ensure the Update button is displayed on the Single Page Purchase routine in all instances. Thank you for pointing this issue out.

Some time ago, I wrote:
When using SINGLE PAGE CHECKOUT with Options, an ‘Update total’ button is needed, ideally located near the total.

In your reply, you say there is an Update button, but I don't see it, becuase this button is not displayed when 'fixed=Y' is used, regardless of presence of options, and hence the total remains 'wrong'.

Hello ajleroux,

Using the Plug-and-Play cart system (the default system associated with your 2Checkout.com account), you would just need to ensure that your products are classified as "Intangible" and that you are posting the sale parameters to https://www.2checkout.com/checkout/spurchase

If you would like to receive additional assistance with the Single Page Purchase routine, please submit a support ticket. An answer will be provided to you as quickly as possible.
