unai, I will forward your suggestions to our developers. We do currently have plans to add a create coupon call to our beta API in the near future.

Would it be possible to…

1) Create coupons in some sort of automated way (imagine I need to create 1000 coupons… Do I need to type one by one?)

2) Create coupons “on the fly” with some sort of API call or passing parameters (http://developers.2checkout.com/code_machine/plug_and_play)

Your suggestions are well noted. I have forwarded your feature request to our Development Department. I can not say if or when this feature will be implemented, but all suggested features will certainly be considered for addition into future releases of our system.

Thanks Craig. Then can I request that this feature be added in a future update? More and more ecomm sites are offering a % off plus free shipping. It’s a big incentive to buy. Thanks!

Coupons can only be created with 1 savings type. You must choose from either a fixed amount, percentage off or free shipping savings for the coupon. A coupon that offers both a fixed amount savings and free shipping savings would not be possible with our system.

Hi,

I think I’m missing something. I want to offer a coupon that gives a set $$ off and also free shipping. I see in the bullet list above that a free shipping “plug and play parameter” can be used, but I don’t see that in my control panel.

How do I set up a coupon that offers (for example) $50 off and free shipping?
