Yes, the reason you are not seeing posts to your INS script is because you are testing sales in demo mode. INS posts will only be made with live sales. If you place a live sale you can test your INS call and then cancel the sale right away to avoid any fees or charges to your credit card.

I have done some research and decided to implement my callback routine for INS Notifications but upon my payment completion 2checkout is not calling callback URL. If I try test tab and force a manual Order Create event then it calls my callback script. Is this because I am in demo mode? Do I need to place some real time orders to test this part. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am getting confused with Approved/Pending URL and INS Notifications. I am integrating 2checkout in AbleCommerce powered store. When customer checkouts from store I am sending payment information to 2checkout and upon completion of payment I want to update order information. Could you please explain which will be the most suitable method from above two. I am of the impression that I would need to perform these tasks against INS Notifications . Also when I try test functionality for INS Notifications 2checkout is calling my script but for demo mode orders I can seen that my script is not being called.

Using the <a href="https://www.2checkout.com/va/login" rel="nofollow">New Vendor Admin</a> area, you can change the Approved/Pending URL by first clicking the 'Account' tab, then the 'Site Management' sub-tab. If you scroll to the bottom of the Site Management page, you will see the URLs section where you can edit both the Approved and Pending URLs. Make sure you click the 'Save Changes' button after you're done to apply any changes you make to the URLs or other information on the Site Management page.

The customer will only be redirected to the pending url if the order is paid via online check as we are unable to confirm the availability of funds at the time of purhcase. It can take from 10 to 20 business days for the funds to be received on online check orders and you will need to monitor the sale for the deposit of the funds for the order. After the funds for the order have been received you may provide the customer with access to download the software they have purchased. If we are unable to authorize the customer's credit card they may return to the billing information page and and elect to retry the order or use another card or payment method.

If the card is rejected the customer will see an error message and remain on the 2Checkout pages. This error page will provide a link to go back to the billing information page where the customer can enter a different card number. A customer will only be directed to your Approved URL if the card can be successfully authorized.
