You are able to upload product images to our database and attach them to specific products in your account. Images that are attached to products will not appear on the purchase pages but they will be available to potential affiliates and will appear on your account’s built-in 2Checkout Order Page.

To upload a product image in your account, please login to the sellers area at the following URL: https://www.2checkout.com/va/

Once you have logged in click on the Products tab and then select the Images sub-category. This will take you to the List Images page where you can view your uploaded images and add new ones. To add a new image, click on the plus + sign where it says Add New Image in the upper right side of the page. This will bring you to the Upload Image page. You will need to enter some information into the form to upload your image.

Image to Upload – Click the Browse… button and find the image on your computer that you want to upload. The image format can be any one of the following types: GIF, JPG/JPEG, PNG, and BMP

Image Name (optional) – This is the name you give your image to easily identify it when looking at the ‘List Images’ page.

Folder Name (optional) – This is a category that you can give your image. It will help when sorting your images in the ‘List Images’ page. Example: “CDs” for audio discs, “DVDs” for video discs.

Image Type – Click on the drop-down menu and select the ‘Product Image (300×300 max)’ option. [also see: Uploading Order Page and Purchase Page Logos]

Auto Resize Image? – Default is selected. This option will automatically resize your image if it is not within the maximum resolution acceptable for the Image Type you have selected. This saves you the time of going through all of your product images and resizing each one.

Auto Convert to JPEG? – Default is selected. This option will automatically convert your image file to a JPEG image.

Once you have filled out the information, click the Submit Form button to complete the upload of your product image. If the image uploaded successfully, you will be taken to the Edit Image page and you will see your newly uploaded image on the upper left side of the page. Please note that uploading an image does not automatically attach the image to any product. You must attach the image to the appropriate product after you have uploaded your images.

When the Return Method is set to “Direct Return”, your Approved URL page will be fetched and displayed to the customer while they remain on 2Checkout’s server. Because of this, images and links that use relative paths will not resolve correctly, resulting in broken images and incorrect link destinations.

To fix this, you will need to specify a base URI for your Approved URL. This can be accomplished by inserting the following line between the <HEAD> tag of your page:

<base href=”http://www.example.com/pathto/approved.html”/>

The URL specified after ‘href=’ should be changed to your Approved URL.
