			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Have you parted ways with your webmaster? Have you recently had to let an employee go? Inevitably, business needs change and when needs change, sometimes employees or associates change too. An account hacking issue does not have to be inevitable, though.  While 2Checkout can protect your information from our end, we cannot protect against people with an active, valid username and password from logging in to your 2Checkout account. With that said, it is important to manage all of the usernames on your account appropriately. Please remember to delete those usernames for persons who should no longer have access to your account. If you have given other people your main username and password, then it is also important that you change your password each time you wish to restrict account access.</p>

<p>Once you have logged in click on the <strong>Account</strong> tab and then select the <strong>User Management</strong> sub-category. To create a new username click on the <strong>+</strong> symbol or <strong>Create Username</strong> link on the right side of the page. The add username page requires that you fill out the following information.</p>
<p><strong>Login Information</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Email</strong>- The user&#8217;s email address where notifications will be sent.</li>
<li><strong>Username</strong>- The username used to login.</li>
<li><strong>Password</strong>- The password used to login.</li>
<li><strong>Confirm Password</strong>- Confirmation of the password used to login.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Security Question </strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Question</strong>- The question you must answer to recover your password.</li>
<li><strong>Answer</strong>- The answer you must provide to recover your password.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Access</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Vendor Area Access-</strong> Select this radio button if you want the user to be able to access the sellers area. Users cannot access both the Admin Area and API.</li>
<li><strong>Admin-</strong> Provides the user with access to manage, create and remove usernames.</li>
<li><strong>Basic Editing</strong>- Provides the user with access to edit contact information, create and edit products, create invoices, run reports and perform sale maintenance (cancel recurring, refund, mark shipped).</li>
<li><strong>Financial Read Only</strong>- Provides the user with access to view your payment information, sales information, create invoices and run reports.</li>
<li><strong>Financial Editing</strong>- Provides the user with access to change view and change banking wizard information.</li>
<li><strong>API Access-</strong> Select this radio button if you want the user to be able to make calls to our back office API. Users cannot access both the API and Admin Area.</li>
<li><strong>API Updating-</strong> Provides API users with access to make changes to sales and products through API calls. API access must also be selected to make this selection.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Please note: </strong>When creating usernames and passwords for your account the following rules will apply.</p>
<p><strong>Username:</strong> Must be 6 to 32 characters in length and can include letters, numbers and other characters, @, &amp;, %, etc., but can&#8217;t contain the following characters: &lt; or &gt;. The username must also be available. If a username has been used by another seller, or if a username has been used and deleted from your account, you will be unable to use that username.</p>
<p><strong></strong><strong>Password</strong> – Must be 6 to 32 characters in length, cannot contain a common word and must have characters from at least two of the following classes:<br />
- lower case letter<br />
- upper case character<br />
- number<br />
- symbol (except &#8221; &#8216; [ ] { } &lt; &gt; )</p>

To change the password of the main user you will need to log into the Classic Sellers Area (V2) as the main user and select the &#8220;Change&#8221; option next to &#8220;Change Password&#8221; under the &#8220;Other Links&#8221; menu. To change the password of the main user in the Admin, you will log in using this URL: <a href="https://www.2checkout.com/va/">https://www.2checkout.com/va/</a> After you have logged in you will then click the <strong>Account</strong> tab on the homepage. On the <strong>Account</strong> page you will click the <strong>User Management</strong> tab. On the <strong>User Management</strong> page click the Change Password link under User Management.</p>
<p><strong>Please note: </strong>When creating usernames and passwords for your account the following rules will apply.</p>
