Recently we have received several reports of our vendors receiving email notification that their banking details have been changed. This appears to be an automated email sent from our system. HOWEVER; The accounts in question have not had such an email generated for them. Additionally, there are some reports that links in these emails redirect to a 2CO Seller’s Area Login page hosted on 2chOckout.com. The page at 2chOckout.com is completely identical to the page that all vendors use to login to their accounts, EXCEPT THAT IT IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH 2CHECKOUT.COM.

Please take extra precautions when logging in to your account with us to ensure that you are at the correct site before you provide any of your details. You will know that you have reached the correct site when your address bar states 2Checkout.com. You will also notice that when logging in, you are also on a secured page. Be aware as well that we will never request your password from you in any form other than when you are accessing your account. We will also never request complete details of your banking information in contacts such as e-mail, telephone conversations, or during a live chat.

We take any form of threat to the private information of our vendors very seriously, and please be sure that we are researching this matter and will provide updates when they are appropriate and available.

If you believe that the security of your account has been compromised, contact us immediately and request that your password be reset on your behalf. Please expect that you will have to verify additional information on your account before the password reset will be granted, but understand that any extra security measure we take is to your benefit. After receiving a new password, please ensure that all of your account details are correct and report any discrepancies that you find, as well as any information you may have regarding this issue, to risk@2co.com. We will respond to your questions and concerns directly.
