Last Chance for South Africans to Try 2Checkout for Free

There is only one more week left for South Africans to take advantage of 2Checkout’s no-risk free sign up offer.

The offer, which was recently extended through September, will expire Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 12:00 a.m. EST. South African businesses anxious to integrate a new e-commerce solution and try our system on for size, are encouraged to signup as soon as possible and enjoy the $49 USD savings.

Detailed information highlighting 2Checkout’s international advantages, as well as a link to the free signup offer for South African-based businesses is still available.

In related news, 2CO will soon be announcing the integration of five additional international currencies to its purchase routine, including the South African Rand. Stay tuned for more details.

When will 2CO allow us to begin charging our SA customers for products in Rands? This is the only thing holding me up at present.

Still can’t do it. The currency isn’t appearing as an option to bill in on the control panel.

Please use the pricing currency field on the Bank Account page to set your account’s pricing currency as the new currencies are not yet listed on the Site Management page.

That’s what I’m trying to do, but your system doesn’t save my selection. It simply resets it to the Argentinian currency.

Using Firefox 3.5.3 on a Mac.

The problem you are describing is a known issue where your account pricing currency cannot be changed on the Banking Details page until a payment profile has been setup and saved in our New Sellers Area (VA). To setup and save a payment profile please select the “Account” tab on your account homepage and then select “Bank Account” from the Account menu. From here you can click on the “Banking Wizard” button and provide the requested information for the payment method you select. When you finish setting up your payment method you will be asked to enter a profile name on the Save Bank Account Profile page and select the Save Profile button. Once created this payment profile will be displayed on your bank account page and will be set as live. You will then be able to change your account pricing currency when ever you need to.

It doesn’t work, Amigo.

I selected the Payoneer card as my payment method (I already have two other 2CO accounts and would like to centralise my payments onto the one card). I don’t want international wire transfer as the costs locally are too high.

All attempts to save the currency as ZAR are simply reset to Argentina.

What do I do?

In your account that has a payment profile saved, please select the currency on the Bank Account page and click on the update button to the right of the field to set the currency. If you are still unable to make the change please contact us directly.
