This is a great opportunity for those suppliers that have considered this an option but have not yet stepped up to the plate. I would recommend this option for anyone! It’s convenient, the funds are right there on the card, you know exactly how much is there and when it’s going to deposit. You can use it at the ATM or at the store, the protection from Fraudsters is great…

Plus, a $10 bonus for signing up is a pretty sweet deal in my opinion…

Now is your chance! Sign up today!

While I can see the value of this card for some users, are there any advantages for a US based merchant to use this, who can easily have there funds placed into there bank account, for free, and without any further fees?

Just to clarify, this offer is for new vendor sign-ups only. If you have been a vendor and you want to switch to Payoneer you may do so, however this offer does not apply.

Yes, I understand that perfectly. My question is not about the $10 credit, but just about other benefits in general that I could get from switching to that card. I currently own the “old” payoneer card you advertised about a year ago. How are they different ?(besides the $10 credit). Or is it just that there’s no way for current customers to switch to that card at all?

This is the same card just with a new promotion. Other than the $10 credit for new vendors, there are no differences.

I am using the card and find it a very convenient mode of receiving money. The only problem is that I NEVER know the exchange rate at which MasterCard converted the U.S. dollars into local currency. The supplier needs to know the basis of the conversion rate for each transaction. Moreover, the supplier does not know the basis of deduction of service fee by the ATM provider. I suggest 2checkout should find out the facts and communicate them to its vendors.

We like the idea of an ATM/MasterCard, however, is this a personal Card or a Corporate? We are a corporation but if this is a personal card under my name and SS number then I would be liable for taxes on this rather than the Corporation.

Please clarify this.

The card is personal not corporate. However, the card is just the payment receiving vehicle and would work like any other means used to receive payment for filing taxes.

If you receive payments of more than $12,500 dollars a week, you can still use Payoneer. The funds will be held on your account, and as you use the $12,500 that is available, Payoneer will continue to add the funds to your card. You will be able to check your balance with Payoneer under your account.

Hello,
I am a 2Checkout vendor for over 4(four) years now, from Europe and my web site provides online orders of gift baskets and flowers. Then I deliver them all over my home country in Europe. I am not a US citizen, nor I have a social security number. So, my questions are:
1. Am I eligible to apply for the 2CO reloadable MasterCard?
2. Can I use the card in my home country in Europe in MasterCard payment slips?
3. Can I use the card in my home country in Europe to withdraw cash from MasterCard ATM?
4. How will you be shipping the card? (via DHL, FedEx, etc.)?
5. Am I obliged to pay certain taxes in the United States?
6. Since I already have an account with 2Checkout, do I need to open a new one in order to get the MasterCard and start receiving the funds on it?

Thank you very much.

1. Am I eligible to apply for the 2CO reloadable MasterCard?

Yes, you are eligible.

2. Can I use the card in my home country in Europe in MasterCard payment slips?

You can load your card with deposit slips in Europe.
This is not correct, you cannot load your card with deposit slips from Europe.

3. Can I use the card in my home country in Europe to withdraw cash from MasterCard ATM?

Yes.

4. How will you be shipping the card? (via DHL, FedEx, etc.)?

In the US the cards are shipped via FedEx First Class Mail. When you sign up for the card you will be shown an estimate of delivery time and will be given contact information for Payoneer if you have questions about the cards delivery.

5. Am I obliged to pay certain taxes in the United States?

No.

6. Since I already have an account with 2Checkout, do I need to open a new one in order to get the MasterCard and start receiving the funds on it?

You do not need a new account. You will want to log into your current account and run the banking wizard and select Payoneer as your payment method. You will be given a link to signup for the card which will be attached to your current 2Checkout account.

Thank you very much for your answer. Just one clarification on the question number 2. My Question was:
2. Can I use the MasterCard in my home country in Europe for payments in stores? (for example: You go to a Nike Store, buy shoes, they ask: cash or plastic, I say plastic and I give them the 2CO MasterCard and they charge it)

Payoneer is currently running a pilot program that allows selected cardholders to receive ACH and direct deposits transfers from US corporations directly onto the Payoneer card. We have successfully tested the transfers with PayPal and various other companies that use ACH transfers. This service is contingent upon the corporations’ policies and terms and conditions.

Yes, you can get the card in Argentina and the rest of the world.

Until yesterday I had had a good experience with payoneer.

Today I couldn’t access my account for few hours.

Yesterday it was just impossible to use the card. Four ATMs also told me the network was down. I contacted payoneer and so far no response. The problem has now been solved but a response would have been appreciated.

But the worst of all has just happened: I visited the payoneer website and leant that now, for those of us who live outside the US, Payoneer is not just charging $2,15 per transaction from ATMs, but also a 3% of the transaction amount!!! They never informed me of such new fees.

Well, I guess it’s time to change my payment method.

merlot45,

You will not be charged an exchange rate if you use your card to make purchases in dollars. If you have expenses in dollars such as hosting or advertising fees, we recommend paying in dollars with your Payoneer card. Otherwise, the Foreign Exchange Conversion rate is computed at the time of the transaction, whether at a retail venue or at an ATM. The rate is updated daily by MasterCard®.

Payoneer’s rates, based on those set daily by MasterCard®, are collected by the issuing bank (FBOD). Our agreement with the bank ensures that we are at the lowest spectrum of the marketplace and are very competitive compared to the fees charged by most banks . We track this information daily and compare it to AMEX, PayPal, CITI, Chase and randomly others so that we maintain our competitive position relative to other methods, both in terms of cost and convenience. If you find that our rates are not competitive with another available foreign exchange method, please let us know by contacting customer support.

(2) Can i use your card to get my paypal account verified, (3) can i use my paypal account to reload the card, (4) What is the minimum and maximum amount that is allowed to be loaded on the card, (5) How long does it take you to process card loading when reloading with paypal.

To answers your questions:

1. To reload the card you can use Visa, MasterCard or US bank account and of course you can transfer payments from 2CO.

2. Users are able to verify their PayPal account with your 2CO Payoneer prepaid card but we have no affiliation with PayPal and all verification are subject to PayPal’s terms and conditions.

3.There is no direct way to load your card using PayPal. We are running a pilot program for The US Virtual Account right now that would allow you to receive payments from any US corporation via an ACH transfer. If you would like more details and to see if you qualify for the pilot program you can email feedback@payoneer.com. You can read more about the Payoneer US Virtual Account here http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/07/09/payoneers-virtual-us-bank-accounts-make-international-cash-out-easier/

4. The minimum private load is $20 and the maximum load is $999

I live in Israel. No debit cards except the experimental visa at the postal bank are available here. If however this is like a prepaid credit card then I can use it. You say it can be used where ever Mastercard is used but is it a debit card? If it is reloadable then it must be like a prepaid credit card. yes? Can I load it one time before I use it to accept funds from 2checkout? I want to use it to receive funds for my work. I am just starting my site.

The Payoneer card can be used anywhere worldwide that MasterCard is accepted. It is a prepaid debit card which means that you can’t use the card unless you load money onto it first. You can load the Payoneer card using Visa, MasterCard or a US bank account via our website and of course the main purpose is to receive your 2CO money onto the card.

2. Can I make the 2CO account receive british punds and then the payoneer card will exchange from Pounds to Soles instead of Dollars to Soles?

3. If I choose to receive payments in Euros, the ATM fee is 2.15 euros or 2.15 dollars?

1. All payments will be automatically transferred in to your local currency.
2. All currency held on the Payoneer Card is in US dollars. I would contact 2CO customer service to inquire about how they change the currency in their system.
3. Everything on the card is in US dollars.
