2Checkout Calendar Girl

Congratulations to 2Checkout’s CFO/COO Kristin Dach for being chosen a WELD 2009 Calendar Honoree! WELD – Women for Economic and Leadership Development – is Ohio’s premier organization dedicated to furthering the issues of economic development for women, providing specific tools and skills to enhance their individual economic status. One of the goals of the organization is to raise the profile of women whose accomplishments should be recognized and considered for additional leadership positions within the community.

WELD annually recognizes an elite group of Central Ohio business women by producing a calendar of the “12 Women You Should Know.” We are happy to announce Kristin was chosen as one of the top 12 among a number of nominations. Through the establishment of the calendar, WELD helps showcase success and mobilize women to become more active participants in the leadership of area businesses, civic organizations and government.

For the record, 2CO Marketing is a big fan of summer, so we are pulling for a “Miss July” placement. Congratulations Kristin! Looks like we’ll have to trash our Jonas Brothers calendar and clear wall space for 2009.

Affiliate Marketer Meeting Update

Wow! Are affiliates fun, or what? Last week, we hosted our first 2Checkout affiliate marketing roundtable and it was an incredible success. Many thanks to all the panelists who traveled far and wide to our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio for a fun and informative discussion. 2Checkout Tapping Affiliate Minds for Feedback

To help put the final touches on the 2Checkout.com Affiliate Marketing Program, 2CO is hosting an affiliate roundtable discussion Wednesday, July 30, to tap the expert minds of a diverse group of industry professionals experienced in affiliate marketing.

Seven roundtable panelists from a broad range of internet backgrounds including affiliate and internet marketing, ecommerce, and consulting will travel to 2Checkout headquarters in Columbus, Ohio to preview 2Checkout’s affiliate interface, learn about the program’s unique design and payment features, and provide constructive feedback for the final rollout. The goal is to generate unique opinions from professionals who have experienced the affiliate marketplace from different business perspectives. The six-hour rap session will prove fruitful for fine tuning features before the upcoming official product launch.

Hurray For Hollywood…and 2Checkout!

Did you realize your 2Checkout-powered storefront is located next door to celebrity and greatness? A recent scan of 2Checkout accounts identified an eclectic mix of performing artists spanning a wide spectrum of entertainment interests. They may have little in common onstage but they all chose to rely on 2Checkout to power their website’s e-commerce function.

To promote a recent return to the ring, big time wrestling giant, The Ultimate Warrior, used 2Checkout to market webcast access of the match to his international fan base requesting live footage of the historic event held in Barcelona. Retired Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant and star of the History Channel’s Mail Call, R. Lee Ermey , uses 2Checkout to market a variety of themed and branded promotional products. “Now drop and give me 25, Maggot!”
