South Africans will be happy to note that the Rand (ZAR) has additionally been added as a remittance currency, making it possible for South African vendors utilizing 2Checkout to be paid in ZAR by wire transfer, raising 2CO’s overall payout currencies to 25. Group Pay No Longer Available After 9/25/09

Group pay of multiple vendor accounts to a single payment will no longer be available as a payment option after the September 25, 2009 payment cycle.  You may view our alternative payment options here.

If you have any questions, concerns or need additional assistance please contact 2CO by contacting us directly.

Faster Fraud Review

2Checkout and our Fraud Prevention Department are pleased to announce an improvement made to our services today. Beginning earlier this afternoon vendors are now receiving the fraud review notifications at a quicker response rate then they were previously.

Prior to today, 2CO vendors were receiving review notifications within an hour or two of the order being placed. Now, vendors should see this response time reduced by at least half.

This feature enhancement should benefit those of you selling immediate downloads and services as your customers will experience fulfillment rate that has been improved from hour or more, to within the hour. Or even as quickly as within 20 to 30 minutes.

Quicker notifications should result in a quicker turn-around on order processing benefiting both you and your customers.

Important 2Checkout Policy Changes

On August 19, 2009, 2Checkout amended its Terms of Use, Supplier Agreement, and Operating Regulations as allowed in the Supplier Agreement and has posted the amended documents to the 2Checkout website. Amendments and modifications are effective immediately upon posting to the website.

Please read this summary of the changes. It is very important that you are aware of these changes.

Developers.2Checkout

We are happy to announce the launch of a new site just for web developers.

Developers.2Checkout is a collection of useful website development tools such as…

  • Purchase Machine and Code Generator – An application created to allow you to easily test the 2Checkout purchase routine, as well as generate code that you can use to integrate with 2Checkout.
  • Return Script – A script that you can use to test the 2Checkout return process. This will analyze and display useful information returned from our purchase routine when a sale is completed.
  • Instant Notification System Simulator – An application created to allow you to simulate our Instant Notification System for integration development and testing.

Developers.2Checkout also features its own forum, so developers can talk among themselves and about some of the more advanced features 2CO supports.

These are just the first tools we’re releasing to help web developers integrate their sites or shopping carts with 2Checkout. Please take a look and let us know what you think.

P.S.
To all the non-developers who just want to get up & running today, our easy plug and play cart system and many recommended 3rd party carts still make integration easy! You don’t need to be a web developer to use 2CO, but if you are, your job just got a little easier.
