Each accounting period is a week long. A new period begins each Wednesday.

All transactions that have deposited before the close of each period will be processed and payments will be disbursed the next day, Thursday. However, if the payment date falls on a US-banking holiday, payments will be disbursed on the next business day.

Account Verification:
All accounts are subjected to our account verification processes.

While this process is usually seamless, difficulty in verifying the legitimacy and status of your account can result in the delay of your payments.

Important Note:
Suppliers selling tangible goods should not expect payment until 2CheckOut can confirm receipt of goods shipped, and they were received as per the terms advertised on the supplier’s website or auction. Delaying shipment until you receive funds is NOT considered an acceptable business practice.

Suppliers selling intangible goods, such as service related products (e-downloads, hosting, etc.), should not expect payment until 2CheckOut can confirm that your services have been rendered.

All Payments are subject to Reserve Funds.

*2Checkout.com has been informed by our bank that with the banking regulation in India that a wire can only be issued for payments that are over 100,000.00 INR and must include the IFSC (Indian Financial System Code) code for your bank, along with your bank’s full address and branch name – please contact your bank for the correct IFSC code.

Can the Reserve Be Changed?

The amount of reserve, and the period of time it is held, can be adjusted either higher or lower by 2Checkout at our sole discretion.

Factors that can influence reserve levels:

  • Transaction, refund and chargeback history with 2Checkout
  • Transaction, refund and chargeback history with a merchant account provider ( statements required )
  • Suitable business references, or other documentation, establishing a concrete business history
  • The nature of the product being sold
  • The time required until product fulfillment ( i.e. a one year membership ).

If you experience an increase in reserve, but feel you have adequately addressed any issues that contributed to a temporary increase in refund or chargeback utilization, simply submit a ticket requesting that your account be analyzed for a reduction in reserve.

Additionally, a staff representative will always be happy to work with you and your staff in order to provide solutions to potential problems that you may experience.

Can I Receive My Funds Prior to a Regularly Scheduled Payment Date?

2Checkout.com cannot advance the release of funds.

Funds exceeding the release level are currently released weekly for all vendors.

Does 2Checkout.com Keep Track of My Yearly Taxable Earnings?

2Checkout.com does not keep track of your taxable earnings. It is your sole responsibility to determine your tax liability, and remit the proper payments to your tax authorities. We do not report your earnings to any tax authority on your behalf. We do not mail end of year tax statements. You can access all sales and payment information online by logging into your vendor admin panel and going to: Sales Activity.
We would recommend that you consult your tax professional to determine your liability (if any).

The 2checkout.com license is for 1 website. You can only use your account for the web site that is registered on your account. Vendors wishing to sell products from more than 1 website would need to sign-up for additional accounts.

You can obtain additional licenses from us for your other web sites. Where Is My Money?

If you have not received a payment as expected, please review all of the following before contacting 2CO in regard to your claim.

>>Has Adequate Time Passed?

  • Check payments are mailed first-class air mail to anywhere in the world. 2CO has no way of guaranteeing any time period for receipt due to the varying degrees of dependability of other postal services worldwide. A standard rule-of-thumb would be to permit checks fourteen (14) business days before reporting the check as lost. Please refer to the Related Articles links below for additional procedures and fees that may apply.
  • Wire transfers can take between ten to twenty one business days to be completed. The length of time is dependent upon the number of inter-bank transfers that are required to move funds from our banking institution to yours. We are notified by our bank when any funds are returned as undeliverable. It is very important to make certain that wire transfer instructions are correct. Failures result in high banking fees that 2CO will transfer to you.
  • ACH (direct deposit) transfers are generally completed within two to three business days. Occasional problems can be experienced with the batch transmission, but 2CO makes every attempt to minimize any delays as soon as we are notified of a problem.

>>Payments to new accounts can be delayed due to the verification process. Please refer to the appropriate Related Article for additional information on this requirement.

>>Accounts establishing within five days of the close of a pay cycle are not eligible for payment release. Please take this into consideration before reporting a problem.

What is 2Checkout’s Policy on Lost or Missing Checks?

2Checkout.coms lost check policy provides you with two options:

1) Stop payments can be done upon your authorization. This will immediately void and invalidate the original check payment issued. The fee for this service is $30.00 USD. Funds will be immediately credited to the account balance and will be reissued as part of your next payment.

2) Check payments not received after 60 days from issue date can be voided per your request, at no additional fee. If the check has been cashed then the check can not be voided and a 2Checkout.com representative will contact you with the appropriate bank documents that will need to be completed. If the check has not been cashed the funds can be credited back to the account balance and reissued as part of your next payment.

Why is My Payment Still Pending?

The term “pending” means that the buyer’s card was charged and the funds are sitting on your account. The funds are scheduled to be processed and released to you at the next payment processing (sales are pending payment to you). This does not mean the credit card has not been verified yet, since all sales are verified in real time.

What is a Release Level?

The release level is a setting controlled by the Vendor that allows you to instruct us to hold funds on your account (instead of disbursing them to you) until they reach the specified level. Once the account has reached this level, payment will be sent by the method specified on your account. This option can be set up in the Admin under Account - Bank Account.

The minimum release level for a wire transfer, either in currency or USD, is $300 USD.

The minimum release level for a check payment is $100 USD.

The set minimum that will be paid out via ACH is $10 USD.

The minimum release level for a Payoneer payment is $20.00 USD.
