The 2Checkout Payoneer card!

Suppliers can now be paid directly to a 2Checkout Payoneer MasterCard!

2Checkout.com is introducing a new way for our vendors all over the world to receive their weekly payment. As of July 11, 2007, you will be able to register for your own Payoneer MasterCard, and receive your 2Checkout payments directly on the card.

By choosing to be paid by the 2Checkout Payoneer MasterCard, you will reduce the time that it takes for your payment to be delivered while cutting the costs associated with other methods of payment.

Here are some benefits of choosing the Payoneer MasterCard option:

  • Cards are shipped to virtually everywhere worldwide
  • Cards can be used anywhere MasterCard is accepted – online and in stores
  • Withdraw cash in local currency at ATMs around the world
  • 2Checkout payments will be loaded directly onto the card
  • Online access to view your account, payments, balance and transaction history
  • If the card is lost or stolen, a new card with the remaining balance will be issued

Payoneer has stringent regulations for customer privacy and uses top of the line security technology. If you ever have any questions about your card, Payoneer offers customer support by phone, email and live chat.

2CO’s New Affiliate Program

2CO wants your help designing our new integrated affiliate program.

About a month ago, a 2CO community member started a thread in the forums asking if 2Checkout would consider an integrated affiliate network. It was good timing, because we are. We’re currently researching the possibilities and would love to get some feedback from our suppliers and the public at large.

This is currently a high priority for our developers, so now is a great time to take advantage of this opportunity. The more information you can provide, the better. We’d love to know exactly what you want from a 2CO affiliate program, so no detail is too small.

You can follow the affiliate program discussion in the forums or leave your suggestions as a comment to this post.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Even though they still spend a substantial amount of money on the internet, the market has been taken over by a new force. Women are now responsible for over 70% of online buying power, and hundreds of sites have found success by catering to the female shopper.

Now, a new group of online shoppers is growing — The Baby Boomers.

Displaying Product Information

Vendors who use our 3rd party cart parameters often wish for the product details to be displayed on our 2Checkout.com order page. By default, when using this parameter set, only the value of the cart_order_id parameter and the total of the sale are displayed on this page. Did you know it was possible for you to create the products in your vendor account, reference them with a few parameters, and still pass 2Checkout an arbitrary total value? The process is quite simple. We will start from the beginning and you are welcome to follow along by placing your Supplier ID number as the value for the sid parameter in our example links.

Collecting Credit Card Information

Credit Card Association regulations state that only authorized merchant account holders are to directly accept credit card information from customers. Because your 2Checkout.com account is an Authorized Reseller account and not a merchant account, directly accepting a buyer’s credit card information is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to using your 2Checkout.com account as an in-store point of sale, accepting 2Checkout.com orders via phone or placing orders on behalf of your customers.
