2Checkout has introduced a new payments feature called payment profiles. Payment profiles allow you to create different profiles for each of your supported payment options such as different payment methods, accounts or addresses. You are able to edit, delete, or set a payment profile live in your account from the banking details page of your account.
To access your banking details page and use the new payment profiles you must login to our new vendor administration panel at the following url: https://www.2checkout.com/va/
Once you are logged in please select the “Account” tab on your account homepage and then select “Bank Account” from the Account menu.
Your profiles will be listed under the Payment Profiles section on the right hand side of the page. To create a new payment profile please click on the “Banking Wizard” button and provide the requested information for the payment method you select. When you finish setting up your payment method you will be asked to enter a profile name on the Save Bank Account Profile page (optional) and select the Save Profile button.
Once created this payment profile will be displayed on your bank account page and will be set as live. You may edit this profile by clicking on the edit link which will route you back to the backing wizard to make your changes.

I login this page and found that the currency display is in Aus$. When I tried to change, it does not change.

I checked out your page on this new feature, and I have no idea what this is supposed to accomplish. Who needs this new feature, and how do they use it? I think you are forgetting that some people need to be told what a profile is, and what it’s good for. Thanks.

Further to my last comment…
For instance, does this mean I can accept payments using only certain payment methods (credit cards) without accepting others (PayPal)? Or is this supposed to be for people with multiple stores who don’t want to manage multiple 2co accounts?

@Mike - The Payment Profiles control varies settings that deal with your payments that 2Checkout sends to the vendor weekly. This feature will be used by all vendors who will set up at least 1 profile containing the information about where they want to have the weekly payment sent. A profile is a collection of payment settings that are saved in the account.
Some vendors may have multiple accounts that they use to run their business. This will allow a vendor to save the information about both accounts and easily switch between the two accounts whenever they wish to change where their payment is sent.
These profiles do not deal with payment options that customers can use to pay you for a sale with such as Credit Cards or PayPal. We apologize for any confusion.
Using this feature is fairly simple, the last 2 paragraphs of the article explain how to create a new profile and what steps to take to change the profile.
