2Checkout has updated it’s Affiliate Signup Program
The 2Checkout Affiliate Signup Program is our way of rewarding suppliers with compensation for referring others to use our service. Here are some of the highlights:
- Suppliers now earn $11.00 for each new supplier they refer.
- Suppliers now have access to an affiliate reporting system which allows them to track their affiliate signup sales. This report can be found in the vendor reporting section of your 2CO Admin Area.
- A column has been added to the payment section of your 2CO Admin Area (’Aff Comm’). This column details money paid to you by 2Checkout for affiliate signup sales.
If you already have a supplier account, using the affiliate signup program is as easy as adding one link to your website (replace ‘XXXXXX’ with your vendor account number):
https://www.2checkout.com/2co/signup?aff_id=XXXXXX
After the account is active for 60 days you will receive payment for referring a supplier to start selling with us.
This is just the start of our new affiliate program revamp. Please keep sharing your ideas and recommendations as we continue to add to and improve this program.

I just checked, the link is not working:
Check mine:
https://www.2checkout.com/2co/signup?aff_id=20302
I get: Page can not be displayed. Even if I remove the query string, it is not working:
https://www.2checkout.com/2co/signup
Please check and advise.
Thanks.

The link was https://www.2checkout.com/2co/signup?affiliate=33364, WHY change it to https://www.2checkout.com/2co/signup?aff_id=33364 ??
If the normal (old) link does not work anymore (and it seems it still works), it will force us to change a lot of pages on our website…

Magia,
It is perfectly okay to use the ‘affiliate’ parameter for 2Checkout Affiliate signups (as you currently are).
The ‘aff_id’ parameter may be implemented with our new vendor affiliate program, however the ‘affiliate’ parameter will not, and they should not be thought of as interchangeable anywhere but signup.

You would make a trillion more money if you would be able to create share revenue with your vendors. Same thing as google is making with their adsense program.
So each time someone whom I referred would make a sale on his site I would also get some small commission. That way you wouldn’t keep everything for yourself but you would also share the revenue with your vendors.

hlivnjak,
Residual commission are a topic of discussion among senior management.
As this is a total departure from our existing model and the focus in PD is on other features it will be a while before we get to coding (or approving) this type of feature. I’m personally all for it. I wouldn’t expect it to be over the top as far as payscale but we should (hopefully) be able to ensure that your contribution has a longer-term reward.
In the interim, please enjoy the increased affiliate payment schedule.
