Yes — that’s true, I’m aware of that — and you have a salient point. However, we often have clients who look at the credit card statements and they see the 2checkout.com URL — which takes them directly the main page…. which shows the competing products and services.

Cliff, I do appreciate you taking the suggestion into consideration, though I’m really very doubtful of the neccessity of promoting suppliers to other suppliers.

If you’re really serious about promoting your suppliers, here’s a suggestion for you: Why not add an easily visible “SHOP” button to the horizontal menu bar which would take you to a supplier-based search engine — for those suppliers who want to shop from other suppliers?

There seems to be a confusion. The customers do not get to see this page after a purchase. Only vendors land here after a ‘Logout’

Thanks for the feedback. This is the first time I’ve encountered this opinion. Many of our suppliers have supported this feature and expressed an interest in being featured themselves. Given the prevalence of “client lists”, the existence of the shopping center, and the value of promoting our suppliers, it’s doubtful this feature will be removed. We will take your suggestion under consideration, however.

I respect the fact that you’re trying to create a sense of community…. but I think you should reconsidering “featuring” merchants on your main page. Reason: We were about to sign up, but then saw that you’re advertising a competing service… and we really don’t want to have *our* customers drop by 2CO’s main page after making a purchase, only to find advertising for a competing service.

It’s a slap in the face to your merchants.

So, put the featured merchants anywhere *except* the main page…. sigh.
