I do apologize. In most cases, PayPal does contact us when they find an order to be fraudulent. However there is a case where the funds are just refunded and we receive no notification. This is when there has been an account take over PayPal just refunds all funding sources.

You don’t pay any extra fees for a refund you do however still pay the transaction fee if the sale has deposited.

Oh and to add fuel to my last comment
are we paying fees on the refund too ?
so let me get this clear
if someone completes a chargeback for goods via paypal bought via 2 com,
as companies like yourselves depend for their existence on taking credit card payments
then due to this and in most cases award refunds to avoid any recurse with the credit card companies, which belies the real resolution of the problem
2 com were always a better solution for digital goods but Paypal should be an option !!

Hi all
Digital Good suppliers BEWARE
Paypal may at first seem a benefit to your account
but many buyers do abuse paypal refunds policy
and if they use the 2 Com Paypal link
You will find refunds suddenly appear in your account statement for purchases made weeks before
2 com at the moment do not even write and advise the vendor that the buyer has requested a refund via Paypal you are oblivious to this until the refund is just made to your account, you will need to check your statement to discover this Shocking !!
This gives fuel to disable Paypal for digital goods ,until such time as 2 com properly instigate the process and do as Paypal does advise that a refund has been requested

seoz87 – If you get a 2Checkout account you will be able to offer PayPal as a payment method on your website via 2Checkout. You will not be able to transfer funds from your 2Checklout account directly to anyone’s PayPal account.

Our ability to accept PayPal payments is only on the purchase pages and only for customers during the checkout process.

I dont have Paypal email address due to country restriction..
now if i buy 2co..

does this means that i am able to do transaction via 2co and how can it be happen..

if someone ask me to give him my paypal email address so he send the money. what will i do?

You’ll notice that button is for a specific service: Pay Later.

We’re currently looking into transaction page changes I think you’ll be happy with, but unfortunately, I cannot provide an estimate on when and what specific changes will be made.

Aargh! I promised myself I’d stop complaining, but how is that second PayPal button not compromising your research? I’m a little stunned to see that when we’ve all been begging for a “check out with credit card” button.
