On January 15, 2009 2Checkout.com will stop accepting sales for term papers, dissertations, academic writing assignments and the like.

We have appreciated the business of our vendors who sell academic writing services; however, after careful deliberation, our experience with such sales and our consideration of related legal issues in the United States leads us to conclude that we can no longer support those services.

We will no longer be accepting new accounts to sell term papers and similar products. We will add these items to the next update of our Prohibited Products List.

On January 15, 2009, existing accounts that are selling term papers, dissertations, etc., will no longer accept sales. All current 2CO vendors who are selling term papers are strongly encouraged to begin switching to an alternative sales solution as soon as possible in order to avoid or minimize any disruption of your business operations.
