As soon as customers place an order, you will receive detailed order information via email from 2CheckOut so you can fill the order. Detailed records of each transaction are also stored on our servers and can be accessed by you using our admin screens.
Basic transaction fees are as advertised.
Signup/Account Establishment Fee:
There is a one-time set-up fee of $49 USD.
Transaction Fees:
2CO applies a 5.5% commission on each transaction, plus a $0.45 USD charge per transaction.
Additional Penalties and Fees:
If you elect to pay the sign up fee via the check or PayPal method and we do not receive the funds, a manual adjustment can be made for the $49.00 USD plus a $25.00 USD manual processing fee from the current balance on the account.
Depending upon your funding selection, you can experience wire transfer costs. Additional fees can be applied for unsuccessful funding transfers, should the information provided to 2CO prove to be erroneous.
Should you elect to be paid by check, and fail to receive one via first-class mail, you can elect to pay applicable stop-payment fees in order to have the payment reissued in advance.
Chargeback experience can also result in fees passed along to you. We strongly encourage all contracted suppliers to assist in combating credit card fraud in order to minimize or eliminate fees of this type. Fees can vary depending upon utilization experienced by various suppliers.

This parameter is used to verify the passbacks for you. Depending on what parameter set you are using, this will either appear as ‘key’ or ‘x_MD5_Hash‘. The MD5 hash is also provided to help you verify the authenticity of INS posts. On INS posts the hash is returned in the md5_hash parameter.

Yes, if the cart developer has developed a 2Checkout module you may use a shopping cart with your 2Checkout account. More information on supported carts may be found here. Because our purchase routine acts as a cart, it is not required that you install a cart on your website in order to use 2Checkout.
We also have our own set of proprietary parameters if you wish to design a custom cart for your website. You may find more information on the supported parameter sets and the plug-n-play cart here.

Yes, you can use a 3rd party shopping cart in conjunction with 2CO’s features. For a cart to work with 2Checkout, the cart creator must build this functionality into the cart system. We have a verified list of carts that will work with our system if you need assistance locating a cart for your website.
Shopping cart functionality already exists on 2CheckOut as a basic option. All you have to do is place “buy” and “checkout” links on your site.

All new accounts, and accounts whose sales level drastically rises, will be subjected to our account verification process. This process is typically done through voice verification with the end user of the service or product.
While this process is usually seamless, difficulty in verifying the legitimacy and status of your account can result in the delay of your initial payments.
If your account has not been cleared for release of payment prior to the payment period (Every Thursday), you should receive a notification via email of the delay in payment.
Important Note: Suppliers selling tangible goods should not expect payment until 2CheckOut can confirm receipt of goods shipped, and they were received as per the terms advertised on the supplier’s website. Delaying shipment until you receive funds is NOT considered an acceptable business practice.
Suppliers selling intangible goods, such as service related products (e-downloads, hosting, etc.), should not expect payment until 2CheckOut can confirm that your services have been rendered.
Suppliers who establish a new account within five (5) days of a payment cycle release date will not receive a disbursement of funds until the next payment period ends (approximately one (1) week).
In order for 2Checkout to know how and where to issue payments, you will need to create a banking profile. To create a banking profile, you will need to log into your Vendor Administration area and go to the Account tab, then the Bank Account sub-tab. On the Banking Details page, you will see a Banking Wizard button on the right side. Click the Banking Wizard button to open the wizard and begin creating your profile. Within the Banking Wizard, you will specify what kind of transfer you wish to use (eg. ACH Deposit, Wire Transfer, Paper Check, etc.), where you would like to send your money earned from sales, what currency in which you would it to be sent, and the release level at which 2Checkout will disburse those earnings. Any questions regarding the exact information that should be entered into the Banking Wizard should be forwarded to your bank or financial institution so that you can be sure that your account receives the money safely and securely.
Vendors that are located in Great Britain, Australia, and Canada are able to receive payment via Foreign Currency Electronic Funds Transfer (FCEFT) in their own currency. Vendors are also able to receive payment via FCEFT in Swiss Francs, Euro, Mexican Peso and New Zealand Dollar. For more information FCEFT please see the information posted here.

Your cart will need to support the Plug and Play cart parameters, 2CO’s custom cart parameters, or the 2CO-supported Authorize.net parameters. If using one of the latter two parameter sets, your cart will also need to support the New Cart Purchase Parameters.
