Hi,
I see that currently there is no option for adding a “FREE TRIAL” to our recurring billing products.

I think many users including myself would love to have this option because a lot of Web 2.0 services like to offer their customers a free trial before they actually make the purchase.

You guys should really move this to the top of your todo list if not already.

Who here is bothered by the look and usability of the checkout page?

The person who designed it needs to have their eyes examined.

Can’t he/she take the design cue from google checkout?

2checkout’s looks busy, unprofessional and is all over the place, and what is up overlapping left column to the main column?

Please, can someone please redesign it to a simple nice look. Just look at all those web2.0 interfaces, and stop trying too hard with columns or italics.

I am sure folks are losing sales because of the interface.

Here’s what I’d love to see:

1. Ability to turn off fraud review notifications. If you sell downloadable products, there’s no use for them. If the transaction is deemed fraudulent the user already has your product and there’s nothing you can do with this info. I realize the “pending” URL can circumvent this to some degree, but then legit customers often will not have instant access to the product which just generates angry support emails.

Extended Validation SSL (i.e. green URL bar in IE7) coupled with ‘Verisign Secured’ SSL/Logo is becoming the standard thing to see when purchasing online at leading ecommerce sites.

I know the Verisign certs are a bit more expensive than others, but 2CO do such a volume that the cost per transaction is minimal, but would certainly put 2CO on a level with other well known sites.

Additionally the ‘Verisign Secured’ logo would add confidence over the unknown ‘Shopping with us is safe’ logo that you have now, I think you should consider it.

The date on USD checks arriving in Europe use mm/dd/yyyy format date, which can be confusing in places where this is interprested as dd/mm/yyyy. May I suggest to use dd-MMM-yyyy instead, where MMM is the month abbreviation in words. This avoids ambiguity.
