Update billing info
September 4th, 2008, by: renthostA customer recently told me that the email she received from 2CO did not say anything about the vendor (me). I confirmed this using the live help feature – the person helping me did say that there is a link directing them where they can find out. That customer was suspicious about entering her credit card details without seeing anything about the vendor – when there is so much phishing and spam, I understand her concerns. Since these emails are computer generated, it would be simple to include either the company name or site title (or URL), as filled in on the account page of 2CO, somewhere in the email.

Simulate INS

How can I simulate an INS call? I am placing real orders, but not getting a notification. I have requested a notification for “New Order Creation” and yet nothing is happenning. I know the script might be erraneous, but I need a method to trace it rather than placing limitless real orders. Any suggestions?
For the time being, and to avoid script errors, I’ve just included code that sends a simple email without checking any posted parameters. Once I am sure that INS works, I’ll need to figure out a way to test the complex script.

Currency Converter in vendor page
August 25th, 2008, by: bobs12It would be very useful to have a currency converter to work out the correct amount to invoice a customer for when quoting prices in a currency other than that which our 2CO account is set to.
The 2CO internal rates seem to be very, very different to those on, for example, xe.com…

Product Specific Shipping Options Please?

For example if you ship most of your products everywhere but for a certain product only to the United States, there is no current way to do that.
Please make this possible, doesn’t anyone else need this feature?

Paypal support on single purchase page

I think it would be good to have paypal support on SPP.
On my site I still keep paypal and 2co buy buttons. With paypal on SPP, I could simplify my buy page.

Request invoice in custom currency

My 2CO account is in Euros – I’d forgotten about that and just closed a deal with the price quoted in GBP.
Without changing my account to GBP, is there any way to create an invouce or payment link for a specified amount in a specified currency (i.e. without converting it to an amount in Euros).
BTW – I was on the phone to vendor support earlier. They really are a pleasure to speak to and a credit to 2CO

Getting paid every day instead of every week
