Landing page does not get displayed even after transaction is successful.

I have specified in the 2CO account settings the URL of the page that should come after online payment transaction process is completed from the 2 CO end.
I have specified both the success and the pending pages. When the transaction is successful, the user is redirected to “Order is Pending” page of 2CO, instead of my website’s custom page. Even though the transaction email is sent to the user and all processing that needs to be done after successful transaction is actually done, yet the page shown is of 2CO and not the custom one that should actually be displayed to my users.

If the users do not return back to my web site, it could mis-lead them.

I need urgent help on this issue.

Demo transaction leads to Pending process

Using the demo mode for a transaction often returns a message of a pending transaction that to be processed after a period of time.

I would like to know are the transaction requests Browser specific that leads to such case ?
or
shall I be using some specific demo CC numbers to avoid such message ?

Please update me on the same.

Currency switching causing confusion

Hi all,

I know this has been mentioned in the past but from what I see with no real outcome except “this is how it currenlty works”.

I am having to deal with a lot of support issues due to this as customers feel they are paying in their own currency rather that USD.

I would suggest putting some information on the payment page which explains this this way we at least have something to refer a customer back to, or better still stop the automatic switch or at leat give us a parameter to stop it.

Thanks

2checkout – Security Information

I’ve noticed less sales for the past day or two so I clicked on my 2checkout sales link to be met with the following popup window

“Security Information

This page contains both secure and nonsecure items.

Do you want to display the nonsecure items.

Yes No More Info”

I’m sure this is putting people off completing their purchase. Could you please look into this. I get the same/similar message using Internet Explorer and FireFox.

Simulate INS

Hi,
How can I simulate an INS call? I am placing real orders, but not getting a notification. I have requested a notification for “New Order Creation” and yet nothing is happenning. I know the script might be erraneous, but I need a method to trace it rather than placing limitless real orders. Any suggestions?

For the time being, and to avoid script errors, I’ve just included code that sends a simple email without checking any posted parameters. Once I am sure that INS works, I’ll need to figure out a way to test the complex script.

Thanks in advance
Mariam

Charge custom amount for a product

I understand that products need to be created in 2CO. We just need to pass the product ID and the amount is dynamically fetched from the 2CO product database, and is charged to the user. What is needed here is recurring payments. From the study I have understood that the product can be set as recurring. So if I enable this setting from 2CO, the user who has signed in will automatically be charged at the end of the recurring period.
The problem here is, that during the subscription period, a user can upgrade to a higher product ID. In that case, we calculate the difference amount and charge the user the same. Since this amount may vary from user to user depending on the amount of months left for his current subscription to get over, the amount is dynamic, and thus we need to pass a higher product ID to 2CO, but with a CUSTOM amount. We have tried doing that, but 2CO fetches the amount of the higher product ID from the 2CO database and ignores the custom amount that we passed. Is there a way to accomplish this?
I need to also set the new (higher) product subscription to go recurring and the previous product subscription (which was also recurring) to get cancelled, when the user wishes to upgrade.
Can you please let us know, if these issues can be addressed by 2CO?
