I would like to formally request the ability to be able to have more than one URL within each account.
The current system, having to sign up for a new account each time, seems odd to me.
I would understand if you had to do a formal evaluation of each additonal URL to make sure they meet the 2 Checkout requirements, but I can not see why they can’t all be under the same account if they meet approval.
Heck, I would even pay the normal setup price if I could do this.
At least in my case, I would be selling my product under another name/domain, which would increase my web presence as well as my sales, which would directly increase 2 Checkouts sales as well.
If you think about it, if this was introduced, it would allow for further refinement down the road by adding different “domain profiles” of sorts, similar to your payment profiles you added not to long ago.
I know this has been asked about in the past as well, is there a specific reasn as to why it can not be done? To me it seems trivial of sorts for this to be done…is there more to it on the accounting and such for 2 Checkout? Thanks.

Thank you for the suggestion. We’ll definitely take it under consideration.
Part of the reason this isn’t offered yet, is that all accounts must go through review by our Risk department and must have their own independent status.
It may be possible to consolidate payments from multiple accounts, if that’s one of your concerns. Please open a support ticket, if you’d like to look into that further.

Ohh
I just made a post in the “Feature Request” thread and a few minutes later found this thread. If you don’t mind, I will repeat my post here:
——————————–
My “the most wanted feature” is ability to use single account with multiple websites. I have over 60 intangible products (software) – each with its own website. I can’t even imagine myself managing 60 2CO accounts.
You offer additional accounts with $19 discount – $30 instead of $49, but why don’t you just charge these $30 for adding new domain to existing account instead?
This is the only reason that stops me from transferring my products to 2CO. I just can’t physically manage that many accounts – I will have no time to provide my customers with first class support and to develop new products

Hello beho;
We incur fairly significant expenses due to the amount of effort it takes to evaluate each website/url/domain. That has been the reason for insisting on an establishent fee payment for each registered site.
You can certainly submit your request to the PST Department for consideration because we’re always willing to evaluate each situation on an individual basis. There may be a valid workaround but you would need to discuss alternatives or methods that would simplify the evaluation process directly with that department.

We all understand the fact that you need to charge the fees for website validation and such. Myself and the other poster agreed we would not mind paying the $30 or $49 charge if we were able to add extra URLs to one central account. I am sure others who see the value in this feature would agree.

Absolutely agree with swintec! I would be glad to pay $30 – $49 for adding domains to one certain account instead of opening new account for each website.

swintec and beho,
I will contact you both via email so that we may discuss possible alternatives. If for some reason you do not receive an email from me today, please contact the PST department at risk@2co.com and ask that your ticket be forwarded to me.
