First of all as this is my first post I’d like to introduce myself as Chris who runs a small UK based web hosting company (600host.net)
I’m also extremely satisfied with the services provided by 2CO – no other merchant services provider offers the same level of service and chargeback protection at the same price, however I’ve noticed the recent PayPal integration.
When checking out my customers have the option to choose PayPal or Credit/Debit Card before being taken to either 2CO’s page or PayPal’s page, so in my opinion when a customer chooses to pay by credit/debit card and is then taken taken to a page where the ’Pay By PayPal’ button is much bigger than the ’Continue’ button to pay by credit card, it’s very confusing.
Is there any way Paypal can be switched off as an accepted method of payment?
Thanks,
Chris

2CO has contracted with a 3rd-party evaluator to track drop-off rates to assess just what modifications will have the greatest positive impact on sale closure. They will provide 2CO with extremely quantified data regarding what consumers like, where customers are dropping off of the process and what changes work best on various demographic targets. It is highly likely that the end result will be a number of revised purchase pages and this may include changes to these buttons. We appreciate your input but will not be modifying the existing display until this evaluation is completed, the results reviewed and best practice approaches have been developed. If payment methods are removed during this time, it will compromise the data being collected.
