Awesome New Transaction pages!

I’ve just seen the new purchase pages:

great work, please let us know if you are going to change it, since I’m planning to create a preview of the purchase process for my customers.

Thanks manus19, this version is new and is part of our ongoing conversion and layout testing. Your customers may, or may not, see this version right now as our traffic is split between several versions.

The goal of having these multiple versions is to raise customers conversion rates as they move through our purchase process. It allows us to see how customers really behave on our purchase pages and find opportunities to increase the number of customers completing the purchase.

I’m happy to see there is single checkout button instead of “paypal”+”paypal2″+”non-paypal”. What is estimated time of delivery for new interface?

I agree, good work. One thing I learned in my Internet career is: simple is better. The less complicated and more straightforward the purchase process is the better it will convert.

One thing I really like about 2CO is they don’t ask customers to register for an account because that is the biggest conversion killer I have ever seen.

I love that purchase page, i hate the original one.

It seems quite strange and underminig to do testing on your clients sites. I would love to have the option of choosing the type of page i serve to my customers through a parameter like &payment_page=3

Technically, you will still be able to get your data because you can analyse the number of calls to certain pages and how well they convert. Furthermore, you wont make your sellers feel like they have a lolly scramble for a checkout.

One more thing, with this option enabled you can still make minor changes to the placements of logos, text fields etc – but still give customers and suppliers a constant, familiar setting that they have chosen.

I just want to stress one more time… i love the new layout, hate the old. Is it possible to atleast get the new one on my account?

That page is better then the current one, but “Awesome”? You’re kidding right?

There are distracting images all around the actual form. There is too much clutter on that page… distracting images that add no value to the process.

2CO is a multi-million dollar company with a design team that looks like they work with MS Frontpage.

Absolutely amateurish geocities-like attempt, but still better then the design it’s replacing so I guess I shouldn’t be complaining.

Thank you everyone for the feedback you have provided so far, keep it coming if you have anything other thoughts to share with us.

@3dom – This layout is currently released and being used by a portion of our traffic.

well it needs to be rolled out amongst all your servers. the existing checkout page is not good from a conversion point of view. Do you have any conversion optimisation specialists at 2CO? Because maybe you should look at it from that point of view – you’d generate a whole heap more revenue too…
