I have a couple of questions related to recurring billing:
A coupon is only taken off the initial payment, and not the recurring payments, correct?
And second, regarding affiliates — If were to give affiliates 10% on a sale of a recurring $10 item that billed every month, would they receive that $1.00 only once, or each month the product was billed?

Coupons are only applied to the first installment of a recurring order. Affiliate commissions are applied to every installment of a recurring order. Therefore the affiliate in your example will be paid out 10% of the recurring product price on every installment.

Thank you, very helpful. Another question about coupons that I forgot to ask… Is there any way to pass along a coupon code in the query string (like name, phone, city, etc) so the user does’t have to fill it in?
Is there any document that explains all the fields I can pass along in the query string and what they do? I seem to remember something like this but didn’t bookmark it.
Thanks

Coupon codes cannot be passed in with a parameter. The code must be entered by the customer on the order review page. You may view our supported parameter sets here.
If you pass any parameters to our system that are not used by us, they will be returned as-is with the rest of the parameters at the end of the sale.
