As an Indian merchant I am expected to pay service tax on the commission paid to 2Checkout. In addition I am also expected to deduct income tax on that amount. Now, I obviously cannot do this because 2Checkout will deduct its commission and then pay me. Is anyone (including 2CO) aware of this issue? What do vendors in other countries do where tax needs to be deducted at source on the commission paid to 2CO?

robbie,
Although I’m unable to provide advice on the tax issue, you would be able to run a sales CSV report in your account that will provide you with your sales totals before 2Checkout fees have been taken. Please review this article for more information on the sales CSV report.
If any other suppliers can provide insight as to how they have dealt with this tax issue it would be appreciated.
