is 2Checkout the solution for my website ???

Hi Guys,

Nice new look on the website…Congrats..

My wife and I are developing an online womens fashion store and we are having an big issue finding an online credit card payment processor supporting the UAE (Dubai) (or Indian Banks for that matter)

Im glad I found 2CO and have read through the FAQ’s on the site…

We still have a few questions and here they are…

1. What do we need to do once we sign up for an account with 2CO ?

2. Our shopping cart is OSCommerce…is this compatible ?

3. What happens once a customer hits Checkout on my site ? Is the card processed online or do I send them a payment link via email for the order ?

4. What kind of chargeback protection do I have ?

5. What is the overall opinion of 2CO ? Would youll recommend it ?

Sorry for all the questions…

Hello, Lyndon.

First, you will want to check our Prohibited Products list. This may effect you, if you’re selling replicas of name brand products.

After you sign up for an account, you will want to set up your account by adding all of the appropriate information (company info, banking info, etc.).

The following Knowledge Base article helps you set up this popular shopping cart to use 2CO:
How can we set up the osCommerce Shopping Cart?

After setting up osCommerce, customers will be directed from your site to 2CO to enter their credit card numbers, etc. They will then be directed back to your site at the end of the transaction.

Regarding chargebacks and other related issues, I recommend the
“Fraud & Bank Assisted Disputes (Chargebacks)” Knowledge Base category and the “Consumer Fraud” blog post.

Hi Lyndon

I am trying to set up my online store selling kids toys and a small range of clothes here in Dubai too. Did you have any luck with 2CO? I am looking into it as well and finding the online merchant thing a real pain. I found that 3 banks do the accounts here but they are so $$$ to set up. Would love to know how you are going and when you are launching!
