Hello 2CO.
My name is Denis and I’m situated in Ukraine. I would like to find out whether 2CO is something that will help to improve my business. Let me describe the issue in brief.
I’m going to launch web project the main purpose of which will be selling web design templates.
Those are design + piece of software that has to be used in one of CMS’es. All those templates will be orgnized in catalog that customers can browse through and should be able to choose any of those
templates. Actually there are a load of such services in a web that might be used as example of what my project will be.
As I understood from Forum here it’s not a problem to sell designs or such templates with 2CO. What I worry about is functionality. And here go some questions.
- Will Customer be redirected to 2CO to fill the payment form? I suspect yes, but would like to be sure.
- If the only one shipment process for my templates is actual downloading, when will my customer be able to download that template? Right after he filled out the payment form? Or I need to confirm that somehow?
- Should I host my templates at 2CO, or I can host them at my site?
- Is it possible to automate the process of payment/downloading for customers at all? I mean so that I wouldn’t need to send the templates manually to them after getting email notification from 2CO.
- As I saw, 2CO offers a cart system. Is it something proprietary or it is not hard to adapt for my needs? Am I allowed to change something in cart system so that it would better fit to me site’s design and functionality?

Hello Denis, I’ll get directly to your questions.
1. Yes. The process always leads to 2Checkout.com’s secure transaction pages for entering credit card numbers, etc.
2. This is up to you. You may provide the files immediately or you may wait until the fraud review process is completed.
3. 2CO does not offer any hosting services, so you will need to host your own files.
4. Yes. There are third-party carts, like Linklok (www.vibralogix.com/linklok/), that may help you, or you may develop your own system to accomplish this.
5. The 2CO cart/transaction pages cannot be customized.
