Is anybody going to update the info on https://www2.2checkout.com/affsignup.htm ? There’re www and www2 versions of the same (totally outdated) page. Why?
And what link should an existing vendor use to refer new vendors to the 2CO website? There’s no such info anywhere!
Moreover, https://www.2checkout.com and https://www.2checkout.com/index.html points to the different version of website (plus there’re the versions with ‘www2′ and ‘http’) What’s going on?
p.s. it’s also impossible to choose the appropriate category for this post. It’s always posted in “Getting Started” section. This new 2CO’s site is a mess…

Sorry for any confusion magia. The link you will want to use to refer new vendors to the 2Checkout website for a new account is (replace XXXXX with your vendor ID number):
https://www.2checkout.com/2co/signup?affiliate=XXXXXX
This will earn you credit for each account signup. More information on this feature can be found here. This article contains the most up to date information on the program.
If you just want to send potential vendors to our website then you will use the URL www.2checkout.com. You should not be adding index.html to the URL.
We have a new affiliate signup link which can be accessed at the following URL:
https://www.2checkout.com/va/signup
This link and accounts created from it can also be used to provide free accounts for anyone who wants to take part in the 2Checkout account referral program discussed above. These accounts can also be used to take part in our product affiliate program. More information on this program can be found in the links below.

These 2 links will work and provide the same functionality as the link we provide to suppliers in the affiliate signup article.
The www and www2 issue deals with our internal server structure. While every link will work with either www or www2, I suggest you just use www when creating links yourself as this is more clear to customers and will prevent any unnecessary confusion to someone who may not be familiar with seeing a link with www2 in it.
