Hi - I’m a 2co vendor.
Every once in awhile, when I go to my site in the Firefox browser and click on any of my purchase buttons - the following window comes up:
“Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
2Checkout.com”
I’ve been told in the past by 2co tech staff that I need to clear out my cache and cookies to get the purchase page to come up again. I’ve done this and it works.
What concerns me, however, is how are my customers going to know to do this? I’ve purchased many products from many websites and have never had this error come up. Clearing out caches and cookies is not a part of normal computer maintenance for most people.
Isn’t this a technical problem on 2co’s end? Can’t this be prevented from happening? Other processors don’t seem to have this problem. Can’t this be fixed permanently so that my customers don’t have to try and figure this out for themselves - especially since many are non-English speaking.
Please advise.
Thanks

I also have this concern. It seems random errors happen, but I am not sure if clearing cookies and such is the real solution. It is almost as if doing this buys enough time so the error does not happen again, since it is completely random.
For instance, here is a screenshot example of what i am talking about. I almost lost a sale since a customer told me so, god knows how many I have lost without even knowing. http://bitstobytescomputing.com/error.png
