Since Monday July 14, 2008 I have not been able to log into my 2CO Payoneer account. I also tried to use my card last night and the ATM told me the network was down. I contacted Payoneer via LivePerson chat support today and the rep told me that they were down yesterday for awhile but were back up again. When I pressed the service rep, insisting that I was still not able to login, he went and checked and came back to tell me that indeed yes, they were still having some minor issues and it would be back up in an hour or so. That was 7 hours ago, and I still cannot log in. I am very concerned when I have 2CO money sitting there that I cannot access.
What is the policy from 2CO point of view in terms of monitoring their partnerships? I realize you cannot advise regarding support for another site but I do have this card through 2CO and my concern is how my funds are protected if there is an issue with Payoneer. Since the beginning of July, there seems to be quite a bit of site instability (reading other posts) with Payoneer.
Please advise

Until yesterday I had had a good experience with payoneer.
Today I couldn’t access my account for few hours.
Yesterday it was just impossible to use the card. Four ATMs also told me the network was down. I contacted payoneer and so far no response. The problem has now been solved but a response would have been appreciated.
But the worst of all has just happened: I visited the payoneer website and leant that now, for those of us who live outside the US, Payoneer is not just charging $2,15 per transaction from ATMs, but also a 3% of the transaction amount!!! They never informed me of such new fees.
Well, I guess it’s time to change my payment method.

I am confused… I don’t understand this 3%
I understand that when you get money from your payoneer card in a foreign currency, you are charged an exchange rate. Is this the 3% published in the “Pricing and Fees” or is this an additonal fee?
I will ask payoneer. Hope I will get a response this time.

Hi, spacollege and merlot45,
On Monday and Tuesday of this week (July 14-15) our processor was experiencing severe technical problems. These problems affected card usage as well as access to www.payoneer.com.
We have now been informed by our processor that they were able to correct the issues.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you, and assure you that we are taking these matters very seriously and will be following up to avoid it from recurring in the future.
Regarding your second comment:
You will not be charged an exchange rate if you use your card to make purchases in dollars. If you have expenses in dollars such as hosting or advertising fees, we recommend paying in dollars with your Payoneer card. Otherwise, the Foreign Exchange Conversion rate is computed at the time of the transaction, whether at a retail venue or at an ATM. The rate is updated daily by MasterCard®.
Payoneer’s rates, based on those set daily by MasterCard®, are collected by the issuing bank (FBOD). Our agreement with the bank ensures that we are at the lowest spectrum of the marketplace and are very competitive compared to the fees charged by most banks . We track this information daily and compare it to AMEX, PayPal, CITI, Chase and randomly others so that we maintain our competitive position relative to other methods, both in terms of cost and convenience. If you find that our rates are not competitive with another available foreign exchange method, please let us know by contacting customer support.
At Payoneer we are committed to providing the best service possible for our cardholders. In addition to the regular customer service that is available to all Payoneer cardholders, 2CO members can also contact me directly at Allan@payoneer.com if you have any issues.
Thanks
Allan

Though I love 2CO, I would never, ever consider using Payoneer as an option to receive my 2CO payments. Last year I had one of the worst experiences of my life, all because of the extremely poor service Payoneer offers.
Take my advice, if you are counting on Payoneer or their customer service, DON’T.

The option to be paid via Payoneer is very convenient mainly for those of us who are not in the US. Bank transfers are very expensive, cheques sent by mail may get lost and cashing cheques takes up to 8 weeks in some countries and you have to pay bank commissions) So, that’s why I prefer Payoneer. However, I think Payoneer must seriously improve its customer service.

I would like to know WHY I didn’t receive the $10.00 credit for opening up my payoneer account. You can search my online records - I NEVER received the CREDIT but payoneer sure takes $5.00 a week off my incoming money from 2c0. I signed up for this account approx. 2 months ago and submitted a support ticket wanting to know where my $10 credit was, and they still to this day haven’t responded. So, 2co - where’s my $10 credit as stated/promised on your home page?
