I only accept US dollars with my 2CO vendor and it seems that when my customers check out with their total in US Dollars 2CO changes the currency based on IP address. I want to override this as 2CO currency conversions are not good and they cost my customers more money. This leads to accusations of hidden costs all of which I have absolutely nothing to do with.
How can i set my cart to make the currency go to a default USD rather than customer ip?

The automatic conversion from USD to the local currency of the buyer is not a feature that can be turned off for an account. If your customers do not wish to pay in the currency that the total was converted to all they need to do is click the US flag located along the top of the purchase pages to change the total back to USD. They can also click on any other flag to pay in that currency if they wish to do so.

This does not make sense because the specified currency in the website is what the customer wants to pay. The customer does not want to pay in the currency you change it to and your checkout process is not clear to the customer that you have changed the currency and that it can be changed back. You should clearly state in your checkout process that you have changed the currency from the desired currency. It looks bad for your company and i am getting complaints that the total the customer is quoted on my site is not the total that they pay. The customer should be able to change the currency from the currency that is specified in the shopping cart and should not have to change it back. This switch-aroo trick 2CO is doing is not good for my business and conversely looks bad for your business. Please do something about this because i do not want to continue getting complaints from customers regarding this dubious function in your checkout process.

When the customer is redirected to 2Checkout the customer is able to view the currency type the order is to bill in on the order details page. If the customers local currency is supported, the billing currency will be converted to their local currency. Customers are also advised on the order details page at 2Checkout that they may change the billing currency by clicking the country flag for the supported currency they wish to be billed in. I will advise our developers of your request to fix the billing currency for sales on your account. You may also wish to make this suggestion using the new features request section on our site.
