I’m in the UK and would like to start using 2checkout.
Do I need to have a merchant accountn with a bank in the UK? Will I be able to accept american express corporate credit card payments?

You do not need a merchant account. 2Checkout is an alternative to merchant accounts. We act as a reseller for your goods or services.
You will most likely want a bank account, so you can get payments automatically transferred to your account.
We currently accept American Express, VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, JCB, FX Source, Diners Club, and electronic check.
