A couple of months ago we’ve signed up to be a 2co referral (not a std vendor), they said that we can the receive the payments using Paypal.
We just need to sign up, and make a few more steps. Ok.
We’ve started to promote 2CO…
Now (after 2 days endless e-mails) they told me that I is not possible to receive payments via Paypal. (!?)
There are more failures, but it is just dissapointing that I’m convincing others to use 2CO, while this is not working at all.
Thanks God I haven’t generated thousands of dollars, because we trusted in 2CO’s word.
Let’s hope that they fix it soon, I am trying to find other people with similar problems. This is frustrating.

Agree. So far worst experience with payment processor companies - 2 days of e-mails and still cannot start sales + even cannot tell for sure if I will ever be able to do that.

Hello Bill,
I think the issue boils down to this:
Payments using PayPal (Customers paying for products) — yes!
Payments using PayPal (Paying the supplier/affiliate) — no.
It sounds like a misunderstanding on the part of the person you spoke to, and I’m very sorry that it has inconvenienced you. I don’t know if there are any plans to add payments to suppliers and affiliates via PayPal, but I know that if there are enough requests, things tend to be added.
We do have many payment options available. If you’d like further information on any of these options, please let us know.
I hope that we can find a solution to meet your needs!

Thanks Julie for your prompt reply, and for understanding the uncomfortable situation (confusion).
We’ve been doing a little bit of research of what happened, and it seems all the confusion came from a ticket system chat, a couple of month ago.
I believe that the ticket system (not talking about the persons who works so hard behind it, they are ok) should be enhanced/changed, in order to establish better communication.
The system is fast, but sometimes it just fails on various aspects.
Also, there’s no a ’straight’ way to become a 2CO affiliate. The account was closed for a time because I’ve followed the instructions in the ticket system. (We had to select ‘check’ as my payment method in order to become an affiliate, we did it and the account was closed.)
That needs to be enhanced, I don’t really care if Paypal is an option or not for affiliates (although I believe that can create hundreds of referral accounts!) because we can receive the payments using simple ACH transfers, etc…
That’s all, I hope this information and time is/will be useful for 2CO.
I really like 2CO, but we’ve got the worst experience in my life with that ‘ticket’ system and I would like to see improvements there soon.
Kindest regards,
B

There actually is a direct sign up page for affiliates. It is part of the affiliate beta that is currently going on, so it is not widely advertised. When it is released, everyone requesting to set up an affiliate account will be referred there.
I’m having the ticket system reviewed in relation to your concerns. We are constantly working to improve the system, and your feedback is very helpful in this.
Thank you!
