Who pays for the verification process?

Will I, as a supplier, have to pay for anything in this regard?

After the swedish media wrote about a $150 notebook, massive discussions have arisen at different computer-related forums regarding the credibility of madisoncelebrity.com.

I urge people who are thinking about buying this notebook to be cautious.

But most importantly, I urge 2CO to investigate the credibility of madisoncelebrity.com so that your customers can feel safe doing business with your partners.
Because of the rather long time it takes to receive the claimed notebook (4-6 weeks) I hope you can make sure that they will not receive any money until a customer has received the unit.
Notice that just because ”some” (say 1/3rd) of the customers have received their item, it does not mean that the company is serious. They might be using the money of the other 2/3rd of the customers to buy notebooks for the first ones, and therefore the business will only be going as long as new customers can be ”recruited” – like an old-fashioned pyramide-game.
This is something that would work very well in the beginning as the price of a notebook is low, and there’s probably millions around the world wanting to buy one.

So please do investigate this, and if you can’t, are you ready to handle thousands of angry customers demanding their money back?

As I am sure that all of you have noticed, we have released the new purchase routine. There is a lot that we tried to get into the new purchase for its launch. In many respects this new purchase is far superior to its predecessor and its method of release was different from other project releases. I thought that the publicly available beta version for purchase was something that is worth pursuing, there was a lot of valuable feedback that we got from your comments and questions about the beta purchase. I would like to see the coverage of the beta server increase to provide a wider verity of available data for anyone to look over and play with new changes before release.

There was also quite a bit that could have been better at release time and we are working to bring the pieces that fell short up to the level that you expect them to be at. The first week we were all firefighting and getting what was most noticeable cleaned up first. Now we are settling down into a period of maintenance. I am going to be doing my part by patrolling these comments, purchase comments posted elsewhere and most importantly scrounging around in our bug tracking system. I want to keep lines of communication open and for my part I will be here posting at a minimum once a week to keep anyone interested up to date on things that we are doing for purchase.

Can customers regret their purchase of an e-book and demand the money back?

I have not even been a member for a year yet and you have successfully managed to upset me enough to tell you all at 2Co to get lost. I come in here as often as I can and it seems to me that there are very few people who actually find you treating them acceptably. Maybe there are but they will be few. To make my point, on 2 may 2007 at 2.20am I sent you a ticket regarding the most simplest of tasks for you but very important for me. Again on 9th June at 11.28am I sent a follow up to that ticket because I did not get a reply. Even today I have not had a reply so I guess that tells me exactly how important I am to anyone who works at 2Co. I guess this is a ’lady’ thing but I aint putting up with it any longer. The final nail in your coffin is the number of people complaining about your chargeback/refund policy/handling. I wont be doing any business with 2Co so I wont have the problem they all have. Byeeeeeeee
