Removing Address Requirement When Selling Intangible Goods

For off, let me say that I love 2checkout. You guys seem to only hear the complaints, so I just wanted to pat you guys on the back.

My question: is there a way to disable the requirement having the buyer input his mailing address for intangible products?

My products are digital and my customers are used to just submitting their name and credit card card info.

I got an email today from one of my customers. He said that although he completed the transaction, he almost didn’t because he was forced to enter in his mailing address. And for a intangible product, this just didn’t seem neccessary to him.

That got me thinking: how many other potential buyers are put off by this requirement and just don’t complete the transaction?

Is there a way to disable the mailing address requirement?

hi, i used 2checkout for a client’s osCommerce web store a few years ago, and have suggested again to be implemented into an extensively-modified osCommerce-based store, and I needed to know if 2checkout verifies billing name/address/information when the credit card transaction is being processed online? we need to know this in general but also before we start the account or the new version of the store.
