returning the customer to third party site.

Hi I have been developing a shopping cart to use 2CO and have had a little difficulty wioth the Instant Notification system.

I am correct in saying that once the user has been transferred to 2CO with the payment total, vendorid, and other details, the instant notification then posts various details back to the specified pages that you set from within your vendor account?

If this is correct then please can you tell me how I can have the user returned back to the shopping cart for the ‘Your order has been recieved and paid for thank you’ page or ‘Your order has failed’ page?

is there a post variable that has to be sent along with the totals and cart contents?

Many Thanks

2CO integration with vBulletin for recurring billing?

I am having a devil of a time getting straight answers. Am using vBulletin 3.6.8. PL2 and it says recurring billing not supported. But, the 2CO product descriptions make it very clear that ARBs are supported, at least by 2CO (and I might add I rather like most of what I see in the 2 CO description because it looks like I have to pass a minimum of three variables to the Plug and Play cart. So, is anyone using 2CO with vBulletin for recurring?

Also, can anyone tell me if 2CO can pass back to the vB php file for username or does the reassignment of user from one group (priviledges) to another have to be done manually?

Sure would appreciate some pointers and thank everyone in advance for at least reading this plea.

Urgent help Please. Detail inside

Hi,

I have site which sell items. Site has shopping cart developed by me in ASP.NET 2.0 which is working fine with PayPal and all the payments are verified with IPN (Instant payment notification) now.

I want to use 2checkout as well. But problem is there is very less documentation (example or tutorials) that help me integrate 2checkout. Now what I want is

Once items added to cart and user submit checkout button the Order number is generated. Now I want to send customer to 2checkout site with that order number and description of whole so that when customer reach the 2checout he should know his order number, total amount and little description he is paying for.

Is there any document or anything that show me how to send info to 2checkout once order is submitted on our site?

Onemore thing, Is there any notification system generated by 2checkout once payment successful which is posted back to site where he shopped from to save in database like IPN in paypal?

Thanks I am waiting for the reply

continue shopping button not working on empty cart

I have used 2checkout buttons with forms on my website and it includes the return_url hidden parameter set to a page on my website. When put something in my cart, and then remove it so there is nothing in my cart, the Continue Shopping button does not work. I get the message: ”The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded”

Please tell me how to fix this!

Thank you!
Karene

Getting third party shopping cart added to 2co’s third party carts page

CactuShop (www.cactushop.com) includes 2co support. It has been coded to conform to the 2co requirements (e.g. passing details of each item through, etc.). But it seems to be impossible to get 2co to add the cart to their list of featured ASP carts, which now appears to have moved to here:

http://www.2checkout.com/community/?cat=847

I’ve posted tickets on the help knowledgebase, which is where the page eventually sends me to. But no response.

It seems either that 2co are too lazy to add our cart to their listing, or maybe that there is some kind of secret handshake required to get a reciprocal link.

We even use 2checkout ourselves and do a significant amount of business through 2checkout, but even that seems to carry little weight.

I have to say it gives me a very poor impression of 2checkout’s responsiveness to customers. Paypal is falling over itself to get us to support Web Payments Pro, which we’re now finalizing. Yet 2co cannot be bothered to add a link to a cart which already has full support for their system, even though we happen to be a good customer of theirs too!?

Suggestion for addition to Checkout Page

Hi
Newbie here and most probably posting in wrong area but someone from 2co will shift if thats the case.
I wish to offer a suggestion free of charge….hehehehehe
I live in the Philippines and here virtually no-one uses a credit card.
Is it possible to put an EXTRA button on the checkout page so that people who want to pay by other means can do so between them and me…..Now I know that this takes money from 2co so offer this solution….you set it up to charge our account say 2% of the total invoice simply for utilizing your cart and software and for adding the button. Imagine the extra dollars you might make..
I ask this so that any products I sell via a different method can get deducted from stock and from what I see that only happens after checkout.
All I require, but others may want more, is the reduction in stock and an email with order details ( name, address, delivery address etc).
Besides the Philippines there are quite a number of people I know who refuse to use cards on the net but are quite happy to Western Union or Xoom their money.
Anyways, I hope this doesnt fall on deaf ears.
Of course if there is some way I can do this already I guess someone will tell me….lol
Have a nice day all
Cheers
Daisy
