I’ve been reading this topic since I ordered my Celebrity laptop a month ago. Ok, well, I’ve been reading ’parts’ of it. I get so sick of the trolls. All they want to do is create havoc that they call ’interest’.

The one that has the website, all s/he wants to do is bring traffic to her site. Ok, I went there, but it didn’t tell me a darn thing I didn’t already know. They just keep repeating the same crud over and over. I guess they think the world is hanging on their ’investigations’. Bull.

I don’t give a royal rat’s rear how many times Valdi has gone under. I don’t care how many companies he has or doesn’t have. I don’t give a poop what any of those idiots say.

2CO, you have my order and I’m patiently waiting. I feel confident that Medison will eventually get its act together and one day I’ll get my laptop. I can’t get what they offered anywhere else for the price, so to me its worth waiting for.

What is the FCC approval number of the Medison Celebrity laptop?

I have been following the forum discussions and some blogs about the Medison Celebrity laptop and one of the concerns that have been raised is that the Medison Celebrity laptop does not appear to be FCC approved.

It is my understanding that you as a reseller must ensure that laptops sold on the US market must be FCC approved. I am not familiar enough with the FCC regulations to tell what happends if you are selling non-FCC approved gear, but I suppose that’s irrelevant. I want my laptop to be FCC approved, that’s all.

Can you confirm that the Medison laptop is FCC approved? A FCC approval id would be much appreciated.

Medisoncelebrity.com website has been closed down my the web hosting provider. Time for 2CO issue an official statement on this whole affair, and return all the customers money.

If all of this is legit and Valdi actually has computers to sell, what does he have that he can offer for 150USD?

I’m going to wade in with ”container salvage”. When a shipping container goes overboard a ship, (and it happens a LOT) the contents are insured. What the insurance company does with the salvaged contents once they’ve paid up for the container load is to try and recoup their losses and they don’t usually care whose market they’re spoiling.

Any guesses how many Clevo m540v’s fit in a container? Any guesses what the salvage value of a waterlogged container of laptop PC’s is? What happens if Valdi bids on one, hoping there will be a treasure trove of perfectly good units in amongst the soggy corregated boxboard. What if he wasn’t lucky and there are very few? What if they’re in the far east and—oops—Valdi had no idea that the shipping of a container from there to here would eat up any profit there might be.

I’ve been a purchasing agent and traffic expeditor and ALL KINDS of things are available as salvage for 2 cents on the dollar. Cool stuff like laptop PC’s, too but it’s a blind purchase and you never know exactly what you have until you (or your agents–there are actually companies in the far east that specialize in salvaging and refurbishing the contents of lost and found containers and reporting back to you what you’ve bought) standing on a wharf in Taiwan going through the soggy cardboard. You’re almost buying by the kilo.
