Hello. I’m currently working on a small commerce system accepting 2checkout payments. I reviewed documentation and has a few questions that I was unable to find answers myself. First of all: am I able to give customer a bill for a product which is not registered in vendor area? I want to calculate the cost for some services on my site and create the invoice in my database. Then user is being processed to 2co order page to transfer money for these services. So, I want to pass the name of product to be displayed in the order page and it’s price to be payed. This will rid my client from double creating products: one on his site and one in 2co’s system.

My second question is about keepeing one value when customer processes the order and when INS script returns he’s details when bill got paid. I wish to insert some value to the 2co button on my site and then get the same value when user clicked on this button completes the payment. Something to hold invoice code over the period of all transaction so script can recognize the user paid when the notification about payment came.

Thanks, Michael.

the parameter “vendor_order_id” was always being passed back as null, just wonderig if this is still the same.
thank you

I’m looking into adding 2CO as a payment option for a digital app that sells advertising, but I’m a bit unclear on a few things:

1.) There seem to be 2 parameter sets available when passing info to the checkout – 3rd party (x_login) vs proprietary (sid). Is it ok to use either, or is there a particular one I should look to use?

2.) The knowledgebase indicates that information about the product must be passed (eg. c_prod parameter). Do these parameters have to match products setup in the 2CO account area, or can they be created on-the-fly from my app’s internal settings?

3.) If the parameter “x_Receipt_Link_URL” is set when sending the user to the checkout, is the user then redirected back to that url along with the notification data, or can I set the user to go to one page, and the data to go to another?

4.) I couldn’t seem to find much info on the INS feature that allows recurring billing notification, and so I’m unclear on how it differs from the normal callback procedure when setting up an integration, other than the user needing to opt-in to it from their account?

Many thanks in advance for your help!

Hi,

I’ve been searching for weeks for the best combination of eCommerce shopping carts & payment gateways to use for my upcoming online store and I finally chose 2CO as my payment gateway.

I’m going to offer subscriptions, where people subscribe and receive certain info on periodical basis, hence the need for recurring payments.

I found out that 2CO does support recurring payments.. but i am stuck now as I can’t find a suitable – open source or commercial – shopping cart that supports the recurring payments options or INS..!! I’ve researched more than 75 shopping carts so far but still not sure which one supports 2CO recurring payments!!

What I wish to do, is to have my website configured with any shopping cart that supports subscriptions & recurring payments, like AspDotNetStoreFront, Ubercart, etc so I can have it display all the sales information of my subscription products sold through 2CO.. is that possible?

Please recommend shopping carts – open source or commercial- that would work with your recurring billing features? or INS!

I’m really stuck here with my online store plan and I need your help, thank u

Regards,
