I have tried numerous times to terminate my vendors account with 2CO without success – this allows them of course to hang onto your money if you haven’t reached the ‘release level’. I have sent questions and received zero response.
I am now embarking on expanding my business, but will be using anybody but 2CO.

I’m sorry to hear that you are having problems. I have reviewed all tickets sent from your accounts email address and cannot find any refusals to cancel your account, release your funds or any tickets that were not responded to. If you would just like to receive your current payment, please lower your accounts release level in the banking wizard so that your payment can be issued on this weeks payment cycle. If you would like to close your account, please contact us directly so that we can close your account for you. Please note that when requesting an account closer we may ask for additional verification. This is not because we refuse to close your account. We just want to make sure that this is being requested by the account holder.

i remember the minimal release level is $300 (set in banking wizard), so if the business is expanding it was supposed to reach the release level, as to terminating an account – 2checkout also holds 5% for 90 days, so one needs to wait until this amount is available for withdrawal or to work it out with them to make it faster, not sure they would agree. i’ve never had problems with withdrawals even while dealing with their risk department in the same time regarding a non-related to payments matter.
