I use 2co from 2005 and I never knew that they could do what they just did to me…
2 days ago, 2 refunds where made for 2 sales made not less than 2 weeks ago, which were approved by the fraud control, and after receiving the “ship to order†mails… SO because of 2co bad system of fraud detection, the sellers must assume the losses of the company (2CO)?
After all, don’t we use 2co exactly to cover us in these cases? otherwise I install a POS in my house and process the sales by myself… instead of paying extra commissions?

That’s basically how it goes. They do what they can to check it, and release it.
Their department had allowed 2 sales from Jordan to go through awhile back. I would never have personally let those orders go through in my shop but I was out of town. I had an employee shipping orders while I was out. I am no fraud expert like 2Checkout’s fraud department, but common sense tells me to just issue a refund to that country (and others).
2 Chargebacks right there.

Apog– I’m sorry that we did not catch those orders. As I can not look them up, I do not have any information on these particular orders, but I can tell you that our fraud department works hard to catch every fraudulent order.
You must remember that we need to weigh all of the information provided to us in order to decide if an order is fraudulent. If we are too strict on fraud and cancel orders needlessly, then that as well will be money out of your pocket.
Wayno– You’re right, we don’t automatically cancel orders from countries that are considered to be high fraud. The reason for this is we also receive many legitimate orders from those countries. We have suppliers from these countries. Excluding legitimate customers simply because of their geography goes against our vision of the global marketplace and is something that we attempt to avoid when possible.
The only countries that we block completely are those that are sanctioned by the US government. If there are additional countries that you do not wish to sell to, you can block them in two ways. The first way is through the e-good allowable countries list, which is number 5 on your account home page. The other way is to notify the fraud department and they will set up the system to automatically refund any sales from these countries.
