An American customer living in Nigeria recently made a purchase with us. As I expected, 2Checkout immediately rejected the order as fraud. I told the customer to call 2Checkout and see if he could get this reversed over the phone.

An hour later 2Checkout reversed the decision … even called him to Nigeria to confirm his identity.

Here’s what the customer wrote to us:

“The guys at 2Checkout are really good: they considered my appeal and also called me to check my claim. I really appreciate the extra effort they put in to verify my identity”

Today, October 5th, I created a new bank profile with another bank account and set it to live. Will this take effect for the payment released on the 7th? Or does the transition take time?

In the spirit of my previous post, I would like to kick off the unofficial start of the Holiday Shopping Season by inviting you to share with our readers a little about yourself and your business. I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Bion and I have recently taken
the position of Customer Advocate with 2Checkout. I hope to foster relationships and communication between 2CO and you, our customers - as well as build relationships among the various 2CO customers.

My goal is to start conversations, answer questions, research issues, and facilitate the building of a shared community where you can offer suggestions, criticizms, questions, and support for each other. Strengthening relationships with you and building relationships between you and our partners.

My background is in a “traditional” small family-owned business. My grandfather started a company, my father inherited it, and my brother is currently operating it. The value of networking and customer relationships has always been the foundation of the company. It is my desire to see 2CO become a vehicle for you to grow as a business both by providing a valuable service and a source for information and mutual support.

Over the years there have been a number of prepaid/debit card services come and go, the result normally being that cardholders lose their balance in the event of the business failure.

Are the balances on Payoneer accounts insured?
