Utilizing the Sandbox Sale Tools in your sandbox account, you can test every notification message type for your sales.
To setup your notifications, follow the Notification Setup walk through in our documentation. Notifications will only be sent out for the message types that you have enabled.
Notification messages are sent out when specific events are triggered, such as creating a new sandbox sale, or using the actions available through the Sandbox Sale Tools on the sales detail page..
|Message Type||Message Trigger|
|Order Created||Message triggered when a new sale is placed.|
|Fraud Status Changed||Message triggered immediately after Order Created message. If fraud buyer data IS used, the fraud status will be set to wait and you will be able to use the sale tool actions to manually pass or fail it. If fraud failed buyer data IS NOT used, the fraud status will be set to pass.|
|Invoice Status Changed||Message triggered immediately after Fraud Status Changed message. Invoice status will be set to deposited.|
|Ship Status Changed||Messaged triggered by marking the sale as shipped on the sale detail page.|
|Refund Issued||Message triggered by issuing a partial, full or lineitem refund on the sale detail page.|
|Recurring Success||Message triggered by the Bill Installment Success sale tool button.|
|Recurring Failed||Message triggered by the Bill Installment - Credit Card Declined sale tool button.|
|Recurring Stopped||Messaged triggered by clicking the Stop this Recurring link on the sale detail page.|
|Recurring Complete||Message triggered by the Bill Final Installment sale tool button.|
Sandbox sales will always begin with ‘90’. If you are using the same notification listener for your production account, you will want to check against this to insure that you are handling sandbox/production messages appropriately on your end.
