The shipping method may be offered to customers from all trusted countries, your home country only, or individually chosen countries using a custom country list. Click the Continue button when finished.

When finished click the Continue button.

If you will be calculating shipping charges based on exact order weight please follow Steps 5 and 6. If you will be calculating shipping based on weight ranges please follow Steps 5A and 6A.

Step 5:

First enter a Weight Max and Amount under the Add a Weight Surcharge section. In the Weight Max field enter the maximum order weight you wish to charge only the Base Price and enter 0.00 in the Amount field. Click Add Surcharge. Please Note: The Weight Max field will only accept whole numbers: 1, 2, 3, etc.

Step 6:

Next you will need to set an Overweight Charge. The Overweight Charge is the amount added for each unit of weight over the Weight Max set in Step 5. When shipping is based on the exact order amount, Overweight Charges will be based on the exact order weight. Using pounds and dollars for an example imagine the shipping method was set to charge a Base Price of 1.00 with the Overweight Charge set to bill an additional 1.00 for every pound over 1 pound. In this scenario an order weighing 1.50 pounds would be charged 1.50 total for shipping.

Equation: 1.00 (Base Price) + .50 (Overweight Charge for .50 pounds) = 1.50 Total Shipping Cost

After you have entered the Overweight Charge click Continue and move onto Step 7.

Step 5a:

First enter a Weight Max and Amount under the Add A Weight Surcharge section. The first Weight Max entered will determine the maximum order weight that is billed only the Base Price entered in Step 3. For the Amount for the first Weight Max enter 0.00 and click Add Surcharge. Continue to enter additional Weight Maxes and Surcharges for each weight range you wish to create on the method. The example method is set to charge a Base Price of 1.00 for the first 10 units of weight. A Surcharge of 1.00 is set for orders from 10.01 to 20 units of weight, 2.00 for orders from 20.01 to 30 units of weight, and 3.00 for orders from 30.01 to 40 units of weight. After you have entered all desired weight ranges for the method move onto Step 6A. Please Note: The Weight Max field will only accept whole numbers: 1, 2, 3, etc.

Step 6a:

Next you will need to set an Overweight Charge. The Overweight Charge is the amount added for each unit of weight over the highest Weight Max entered in Step 5A. If you do not enter an Overweight Charge and the order weight is higher than the highest Weight Max, only the base price will be charged. When shipping is based on weight ranges, the Overweight Charge will be based on the exact Overweight amount. Using pounds and dollars for an example imagine the shipping method was set to charge 4.00 for orders up to 40 pounds, adding an additional 1.00 for each pound over 40, an order weighing 40.50 pounds would have a shipping fee of 4.50.

Equation: 4.00 (Base Price 1.00 + 3.00 Weight Surcharge for up to 40 pounds) + .50 (Overweight Charge for .50 pounds) = 4.50 Total Shipping Cost

After you have entered the Overweight Charge click Continue.

Step 7:

Review your created shipping method details. If correct click Save.
