The majority reported they are prioritizing initiatives to launch new promotions, products, upgrade and upsells, and reduce churn.
 
Other tactics some respondents are leveraging include entering new markets in search of new business, using testing and conversion rate optimization tactics for their ordering engines, and reducing operational costs.
 
With the new release we are looking to help you be nimble with out-of-the-box tools to create personalized ordering and engagement experiences, offer more options for your subscribers retention with close to no engineering resources and reduce significantly your costs to sell and scale internationally.

If you are pre-filling customer details with information you already have on file, explore also the auto-advance feature available for Inline Cart for a frictionless shopping experience.

Boost Promotional Sales

We are also adding new marketing tools to increase sales, such as advanced promotions and multi-language abandons recovery campaigns.

You can now create special price promotions and define the final order price your customers will pay, to experiment with fast incentives with your loyal customers.

Stay tuned for the abandons recovery engine that we are launching this month – if you are using ConvertPlus/Inline cart you can increase your sales with up to 6% using these out of the box recovery tools.

We’re now offering more flexibility to those who are selling to B2B clients through assisted sales flows. The platform allows your sales team to create custom proposals to increase deal closure ratios.

If your sales representatives are using SalesForce, join our early adopter program for the new Configure Price Quote solution we are launching in Q3, an add-on meant to automate and increase B2B sales.

This release brings additional capabilities for churn reduction with pause scenarios and new pricing models – such as pay per use – for businesses to better adapt to shifting buying behavior during these unpredictable times.

The right tools can offload a considerable part of the retention process, building a much more personal and relevant experience for your customers.

Retain more customers by activating churn prevention campaigns from your Merchant Control Panel, without writing any code. These campaigns have been upgraded to give subscribers the option to pause their subscriptions, as an alternative to canceling it, allowing them to temporarily reduce costs or pause services.

Reduce churn by 15% and gather valuable insights on why customers might want to discontinue their subscriptions, by setting up the Retention tools in your Control Panel.

2Checkout continues to simplify the complexity of selling worldwide for all size companies and reduce the risks for even larger-scale investments.
The platform is being constantly updated for PCI compliance, PSD2 regulation, privacy, data protection such as GDPR and CCPA, performance and security, and for tax regulation changes at a global level.
Some of the new technologies implemented include an upgraded tax determination engine, new automation for US Tax exemption certificates management, improved order search, and webhooks related to transactional data performance.

We have increased the accuracy of determining taxes for products being sold through 2Checkout. Merchants will be able to select new tax categories for their products and 2Checkout will calculate taxes based on the tax nexus and local regulations where the product is being sold.

Check Icon Leverage Upgraded Order Search Engine

Searching for orders either from the Merchant Control Panel or via Instant Order Search Export (ISE) is now done using the Elasticsearch service. This translates to search results being returned faster and with increased accuracy, and it also decreases the response time for any potential order search discrepancies. This improvement will also allow the 2Checkout search capabilities to scale much more easily and to be more flexible for future functionality improvements.

Check Icon Stay Compliant and Keep Data Safe

With 2Checkout, merchants don’t have to worry about compliance, maintenance, software licensing or technical support. For safer authentications and integrations, we encourage the transition to the Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA) which uses cryptographic hash functions for data encryption.
