How to integrate Easy Digital Downloads with 2Checkout

Easy Digital Downloads Settings - Standard Checkout:

  1. Install the Easy Digital Downloads – 2Checkout Gateway plugin.
  2. Under Downloads select Settings.
  3. Click Payment Gateways.
  4. Under Payment Gateways select 2Checkout
  5. Enter your 2Checkout Account Number.
  6. Enter your Secret Word (Must be the same value entered on your 2Checkout Site Management page)
  7. Save your changes.

Easy Digital Downloads Settings - Payment API:

  1. Install the Easy Digital Downloads – 2Checkout Gateway plugin.
  2. Go to your 2Checkout Dashboard → Integrations → Webhooks & API Section to obtain the required credentials.
  3. On the EDD website go to Downloads then select Settings → Payments.
  4. Under Payments select 2Checkout
  5. Enter your Merchant Code.
  6. Enter your Secret Key
  7. Enter your Instant Notification Service (INS) Secret Word
  8. Enter your Buy Link Secret Word
  9. Save your changes.

2Checkout Settings:

Sign in to your 2Checkout account

  1. Navigate to Dashboard → Integrations → Webhooks & API Section
  2. Scroll down to Instant Notification System (INS) section and check the Enable INS box
  3. Check the Enable global URL box and add the INS URL from the EDD 2Checkout Settings page
  4. Save your changes.
