Avangate Services - PCI DSS Recertified
Avangate services are recertified in compliance with Level 1 PCI DSS - Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, the most important security standard for the card payment industry.
The PCI DSS includes a set of comprehensive requirements for security management, policies, procedures, network architecture, software design and other critical protective measures. The PCI DSS certification was granted to Avangate following a security audit by Endava UK, PCI DSS Qualified Security Assessor.
To ensure the continuous compliance with this standard, the Avangate platform, the operational center and the data center located in Amsterdam are audited by an accredited company on a yearly basis, while the Avangate systems are scanned daily to comply with internal and external security norms. First Avangate Level 1PCI DSS certification was obtained in 2009.
