Avangate Tech Session for Programmers Explains Code Quality: Unit Tests
April 15, 2015 - Avangate announces a new Avangate Tech Sessions workshop, on the topic of "Code Quality: Unit Tests." The event is hosted by Impact Hub Bucharest and will take place on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at 6.00 p.m.
This event is designed for programmers who want to learn how to test their PHP applications and for managers who want to learn about the impact that unit tests have on PHP projects. The scenarios presented will be explained in detail, illustrated in real world situations, and evaluated with real-time programming tests.
Avangate's Serban Ghita, Senior Software Engineer, Mobile Development, and Bogdan Anton, Senior Software Engineer, will lead the session.
The "Code Quality: Unit Tests" workshop agenda includes:
- A brief introduction to the technologies used (PHP, PHPUnit, Composer, etc.)
- How to prepare a PHP project for testing
- Setting up PHPUnit
- Configuring the IDE
- Rolling out the first test
- Show me the code!
