Recognizing the need for software companies to operate at a fast-pace and at the same time offer customized services to their clients, Avangate has introduced on-the-fly pricing – allowing vendors to align their online store with their price and marketing strategy effortlessly.
“On-the-fly pricing is highly appreciated by software vendors. Marketing departments are free to implement flexible pricing policies without any hassle: they can update prices in their own system as often as required, or create special campaigns right on their websites. On-the-fly price links are dynamically generated and information transmitted in real time via the Avangate API.
Equally, sales people can offer exclusive prices to specific shoppers on a click of a button, without having to alter existing pricing or set up additional promotions”, mentioned Laurentiu Ghenciu, VP of Global Sales and Marketing.
The Business Dynamics module, now equipped with an advanced report aggregator and scheduler, makes it a breeze for online channel managers to obtain a real-time, end-to-end, global perspective of the business.
A cart template gallery has also been created to speed up shopping cart customization.
“As part of our strategy to bring in even more services and tools in the area of shopping cart optimization, we have introduced a cart template gallery in the Avangate Control Panel. Basically, we brought in tried and tested designs that worked well for other customers. We’ll keep adding such enhancements to help software vendors continuously test and optimize conversion rates”, commented Adriana Iordan, VP of Web Marketing at Avangate.
Other developments in the shopping cart optimization sphere are up-selling options displayed in an overlay page. In addition, the Avangate Autumn 2010 Release features improvements in lead management, equally increasing sales conversions.
